That person was me. I was talking to one of the Gandini Bros and Mike Swauger at the worlds and his exact words were "end of october to early/mid november", maybe they have had some issues with production. But that was what he told me.

Yes Slo-MTX-4, I was not trying to flame you at all, I'm more upset at them for getting our hopes up. I've been looking for a good back-up motor for my 12-3CT. I just hope the ninja will be available when the MTX-4 WC comes out

Dear Santa,

Instead of bringing me a Christmas gift this year, please give the guys at GRP the help they need to finally put the engine on the street! We have been waiting forever!

Thanks!

Seriously! What's the problem?? Was the design that far off? Yes, I know the engine is probably going to be even better - and yes, I would rather have the engine delayed than flawed, but really now!

I have a question.. Now that Ninja has released a new version of the .21 onroad engine, how do I know It's the new or old version by looking at the box? What exactly should I look for on the label or engine? I'm thining of buying one but would hate to get suckered into buying the older version because I heard it major problems with the connecting rod.

Thanks..

It's Laser etched in the top of the cooling head. For example MR21 R-01A is for the newer motors.

Nice rubbers for the shaft
Is that a common thing these days? (ie. For manufacturers to protect the crankshaft like that?)

Has any brother tried using NovaRossi's and O'donnell's spark plug on Ninja's?
