Over the moon with the new OS Speed B2101. Dale had the 10 minute A Main practice at the recent Victoria State titles in Aus and it did the whole session with at least a minute of fuel left and we did 9 minute pit stops in the final. The power curve is amazing and it ran flawless all weekend. I decided to call him in early for the last stop to get him out of traffic and it made the last run home which was a little over 10min 30 sec and it still had 5mm fuel left in the tank holding it level.
It comes with a 6 and 6.5mm restrictor. They have also been improved and the engine has the 6mm one fitted. The performance is like a 7mm is in there but with great fuel economy and the smoothest power curve yet.

If you plan on running the d812 you'll be fine with 2058 if you run the stock carbon setup that comes with it. The 2101 will not be as aggressive as the engines I've seen you run in the past. Especially on bottom end.

so does anybody know how much this engine is going to retail for! I saw a few months back that you could buy this engine directly from Japan for $340.00 but that didn't include shipping and import fees! I just found this link on Neobuggy! http://www.neobuggy.net/2014/12/09/o...smann-edition/

$572 some limited ed.. accessories only available on ty's model

FEATURES
*LIMITED EDITION* – *STRICTLY WHILE STOCK LAST* - *CHAMPIONS CHOICE*
Ty Tessmann, OS team driver, won 1/8 off-road World Championship in Sicily in October 2014.
In commemoration of his staggering victory, OS are releasing “Ty Tessmann limited edition” 21 buggy engine.
This is combo set B2101 engine / T2090SC muffler / M2002SC manifold.
Internal structure is the same as SPEED B2101. The different points are:-
Natural color head with black letters, which Tessmann asked us.
Engraved crankcase
Engraved crankshaft
Engraved muffler
Carb restrictor is 5.8mm, which is not available in the market but only with this special edition. The 5.8mm restrictor was asked by Tessmann before the World Championship in Sicily and we specially supplied to him for the competition. He used it and won.
T-2090SC muffler with M2002SC manifold complete set is not available in the market. M2002SC(code #72106480) is usually an optional part. M2002SC is longer than M2000SC. The longer manifold increases torque in low-middle range.
The combination of engine/muffler/manifold/carb restrictor is what he used in the World Championships and only available by this limited edition
