Not picking sides in this fight but I think that it's really a regional thing, always has been and always will be. In certain areas one engine brand is top, in another region it's a completely different situation.

The best deal now is the nvison motors they have a race version it can be had for 160'ish or they have a non race version for 130'ish that a screaming deal for a quality motor they perform and tune very well. I'm running a non race version it hauls also its break-in isnt a pain. For the price verse what your getting it beats the werks B2

Just curious, have you tried one of our B2's?

Ron not the B2 only B5 and B6 clocked of course. I normally buy the upper tear engines so the B2 woud be out of the question. only reason I bought the Nvision it was 110 bucks new shipped my buddy as the race version it rips.

Compairing the motors my opinion your getting a better mills with a Nvision. I have some small issues with the werks mills also my resources say the same about the two mills.

After breaking down the Nvision I was super surpised also its one of the best engines @ idle Ive owned. Im not saying the B2 isnt a great engine probably is but if someone would ask I would say get the Nvision if the price was normal meaning no discount then thats a different story.

Thanks for the feedback, I was just curious as I have yet to run across anyone that has been able to get engines with that crank design to work properly including their team guys. That was the reason that I thought that the line got discontinued and the prices were so low.

Maybe the race version I know it has a funky crank design but my buddy doesn't have issues it performs awesome. The non race version has a typical traditional crank honestly I'm super surprised with this mill it exceeded my expectations. These mills come with a new button and needles in a bag you need to install the newer production mills already have the upgrade installed this was probably their solution to your comments.

I would go out on a limb and go against all suggested advice. I would recommend you get another rtr engine and get more comfortable with tuning and track time before purchasing any type of race motor. All suggested motors are excellent, but they are all worth more than your current vehicle. Get some more track time and upgrade both motor and vehicle. It will save money and fustrastion in long run.

I would agree with you. After all I've been through and all I've seen others go through when first starting I would only recommend 2 engines to new people.
1. The cheapest thing they can find that is not used.
2 OS XZB because of the easy tuning and break in.

Wouldnt the cheapest engine create more problems potentially.. like not holding tunes and such..

i owned the Nvision 521R just 2 weeks ago. i admit it does have more power than the b5 in mid and high but imo not the low. i had nothing but problems tuning the nvision, it was rediculus.i got one that i had to install the button and ls needle from amain. i couldnt get it to run under 270 degrees and usually wanted to go at around 285! i raced a b5 with it and took him off the line but the b5 was still slightly rich. i think its compareable to the b5, with a slightly faster spin up speed. (which i think was its best feature) the fuel economy was atrocious though! i wish i would of got a werks in the first place over the nvision. so far the b2 has never got over 230 degrees. cooler running motors last longer in my book. The head size on the werks motors are considerably larger than the nvision as well
