Yes Kyle Mc Bride is running Also Shane Kelly is straight into the Semi and is running Fusion X so thats another one for the list I have been a bit too busy to get on here for daily updates sorry however i will be getting some pics and even more footage tomorrow and ill do a brief report after the event. I thought i would be free tonight but i made it thru to the 1/4 final tomorrow so had work to do :p:D My Fusion X3 was amazing in my lower 30 minute final today, heaps of power/ excellent run times and not one issue with car or engine :) On friday a young Fast racer running the Fusion X3 got nearly 13 minutes run time out of it  It is going to be an excellent days racing here in Australias capitial tomorrow with lovely blue skies and a well grooved track' Dave |
I just found some footage that someone else shot today, Craig Laughton can be seen running a stock Fusion X3 from 1:40 to 2:25 in the vid

AUSTRALIAN NATIONALS
For anyone interested the Australia Buggy Nationals is starting in just less than one hour, it can be viewed live here on slyfox live timing
http://76.164.192.66/SlyFoxlive/ Fusion X Engines have TQ,d the event thanks to impressive driving from Craig Laughton and there is two Fusion X Engines running in the A main We have lovely weather here today and the A main will be awesome! Dave' |
Well it was an awesome few days racing here in Australia
Craig Laughton with he's Fusion X3/ TLR ride took pole position for the A main after winning he's semi final with Kyle Mc'Bride not too far behind (Kyosho/OS) however in the A main a glitchy throttle servo slowed Craig up and eventually failed resulting in a runaway which pulled him out of the race which was a shame as he was holding third position with ease and slowly catching the other two front runners The performance of the X3 is amazing and mine nor Craig’s and many others did not miss a beat the entire event, Craig was running a stock standard X3 and out of the 1060 laps completed by all drivers in the A main Craig and he's Fusion X3 did the third fastest lap which tells you the X3 although not the most powerful engine is no slouch and can hold its own with the best of them Some other guys achieved over ten minute run time on the X7 and at one stage a X3 did nearly 13 minutes before it ran out of fuel, I was getting over ten minutes from my X3 as Craig was but decided it was too risky to pit at ten minutes so came in before hand Other Fusion X drivers who did really well at the event were Jomari Cura (Fusion X Au supported Team Driver) who came 21st, Shane Kelly who came 29th, Jesse Newman (Fusion X Au supported Team driver) who came 33rd, Daniel Burgess came 34th (Fusion X Au supported Team driver), I came 50th which I was very pleased with, Ry 54th, Will Hains 97th, Brian southley 106 and no doubt a few more placings i have missed Also congratulations to the winners of the Fusion X Engines in the Raffle, Daniel Quinton and Shane Kelly :D:) Dave |
Awesome Dave!

It is FULL ON competition racing engine now ;), bigggggg differences , still the same 8 port style block which makes the engine feel the way it does  |
I got to try an X 7 model that The Kinsey's have. OH MAN..all I can say is this thing is just out right stupid in a buggy!!!! I had to feather the throttle going down the straight. And the power it has. I have never the entire time I have been in rc racing have I wore a set of tires in a day. but this past weekend I cooked 2 sets. I think I know what motor I will have when I get a truggy.
