What turbo plug do I need for the new X3 engine? I run 30% Odonnell Speed Blend.

Novarossi C6TGC preferred.

If it's under 65deg. F; you can consider the C5TGC.

The Nova plugs do run best.

However, OD77T will work up to around 72-75deg. F; or OD97T once you're above 70deg. F works well.

Anyone try a x3 in a truggy? Had did it go?

I put my FM X3 in a truggy at RCHQ and it performed nicely. Plenty of punch out of the corners. Not sure how the stock X3 would do.

When I tried my FM X3 in a truggy at Mikes Hobby Shop in Porter it really fell behind the other 4,5 and 7 port engines down the straight. Just not enough top end for that big of a track (2096ss/41021 pipe/header combo).

Maybe a 9886 will bring out more top end for the larger tracks?

Thanks for the reply

^ Like he said, fine for short tracks

9886 will help a little, but not much.

X7 is much better suited for that duty.

Just thought I would chime in to thank Dave Watts from Fusion X Australia.

We have the National titles here in Aus this week coming and I needed a new connecting rod for my new X7 (tried a different run in method that I will never use again, and stretched the rod.) I called Dave to see if I could get a new rod from him but he was in the next town over getting some track time in. Dave dropped everything went back to his shop and got my rod in the mail so I would have it in time.

Dave you are the man!! Thanks for going the xtra mile for us, im looking forward to having a beer with ya this week!!

Both Monty and Dave will go that xtra mile to get things done and help you out, there is not enough of it in business these days, and its refreshing to see that its still around. Thank you both for all the work you put in for the love of it.

Thank you for the kind words Ry, Monty and I try to keep it real and do all we can to make sure people are happy. I agree that it’s hard to find good service and genuine advice these days, it is something I learnt early in my apprenticeship and have allways prided myself on with my other business as well as now Fusion X Engines Australia, personally I believe it’s paramount

Glad to hear you got the Rod by the weekend as express overnight post was not guaranteed in your post code

The Australian Buggy Nationals is going to be epic!, Craig Laughton is very happy with the Fusion X3 and as fast as ever ;), In fact considering Fusion X have only been on the market for about 5 months there is a huge following already
