Looks good.
I have all the bits except the pipe, but have never got around to putting it together as there are no tracks I can use it on here.

I haven't run the car yet. I've heard mixed reviews. The car will be used for occasional bashing so I would assume it should be fine for my needs.

Hi guys, im new to this forum, and im not 100% sure if this is the right thread or not, but reading through 84 im afraid I cannot do. Ive got a OS FS Aero engine, and I need to make in pull start, as I want to attach a clutch to it, and at obviously once the clutch is on, I wont be able to spin the engine shaft anymore.

Im been looking at the various photos of some of the amazing looking machines that are on here, and some seem to have pull starts, and others dont, even though they are 4 stroke engines in cars with clutches, so how do you start the non pull start versions?

Would anyone be able to give me some information on what i need and how to do it with making this engine pull start.

I have tried attaching some of my youtube videos to this so you can see what I do but it wont let me, so if your interested in Internal Combustion Powered model railway Locomotives, then type into youtube: antonr91

Regards

Anton

Engines without pull starters use what they call "bump" or starter boxes. You have a rubber disk that spins the flywheel to start the engine.

Default Make a FS-30 car engine from FS-26S-CX parts?

Does anyone know if parts from the last FS-26S-CX fit the FS-30 airplane engine? There are some parts still available for the FS-26S-CX, crankshaft, pull start back plate and driving shaft, etc., that I was curious if they could be used to make a car version of the FS-30.

Thanks,
Alex
