I'm running a gx5r. With the 7mm restrictor in and I
was getting 9:30 a tank with the 0801 pipe.I put a 2035 pipe
on and had more top end , but havn't timed it yet.
My question is how is the 2072 pipe on mid and top end.
I see alot of people running them but havn't seen anybody
at my local track with one yet.

2072 is more mid and low torque. I currently run one on my gx7r with the long lsn. I believe I've got the 7mm restrictor. Also, I have throttle epa set to 50. I'm getting about 9:30 as well. This is on a fresh mugen mbx6.

Nick... we were still a bit rich on both bottom and top. There's still more to be had, and it hasn't "woken up" yet. FYI guys we had the throttle epa between 40 and 60 pct during initial tuning stages. This helps keep the rpms in the midrange when still rich. Is pick it up every once in a couple laps so he could blow it out tho.

Will be out there tomorrow, maybe tonight. Lee and Viking should be out there too. Looking forward to running in porter. You really should try some vp Axman tires at rchq tho.

Anybody here use the 6.5mm restrictor? Thoughts?
i honestly like the 6.5mm restrictor the best out of them all

On most tracks I can go 12 with my GX7 7mm and 2072. I almost always do 10 minute pits

I know alan is going. I believe Ryan, Puddin, and Bill Shephard are going to be running GX motors in the pro class.

I talked to Alan earlier today, and he hasnt had a chance to get the GXII broken in enough to put a tune on it. Same probably goes with Ryan and Puddin. However, I believe Mark Morrow is going to be running his in Porter this weekend. I'll have to double check.
