I have 2 gxII's with maybe two gallons on each. I cant get them to idle at all. I have ran nitro for five ye ars now and know alittle about tuneing. I have tried everything fromd gas tank to fuel, , i am stumpted. Im ready to send theese out hopeing someone can help me out. Anyone who would like to help please contact me.
also what fuel, plug and pipe are you running?..what temps are running in also.

Stock carb? there are 2 carbs for the GXII the original 2 needle and the new version the 3 needle.
for the 2 needle never run the lsn leaner than flush or you will starve the motor of fuel at idle, hsn seem ok at 1 turn in if the motor is run-in
for the 3 needle the lsn needs to be about 3/4 of a turn out from flush, hsn can be 1 and a 1/2 turns plus in...the msn should be flush and at the factory setting so the intake hole lines up with the fuel comming in from the hsn.
your idle gap seems ok, a good way to test the lsn and idle gap is the fuelline pinch test, the revs should go up at around 3-4 seconds and not too high (too wide idle gap) before it dies, if it dies straight away your lsn is too lean still.
plus make sure all the exhaust gaskets, fuel tank seal and line are ok so you get decent fuel pressure in the tank.

Still gives reasonable bottom end with a nice mid and top. The 2072 is the pipe you really need in the truggy. It is the best all round pipe for the GXII with great performance right through the power band, but the 053 will do the job.

i can push the piston right up through top of sleeve. Now just need to find a cheap squeeze guy....lol

Depending on how confident you are with rebuilding the motor yourself, I can go through the whole motor or just do the p/s.

I had the Go 5 port with silver head two years ago and used its extra rod in a vspec to get me through a race day. Took it out after the race but it did good. Not sure though if xzb and vzb share rods though.
Does any one know if the 3 port piston and sleeve fit in the Go gx2 5rho? Have one of the older ones with the 2 needle setting that I'm going to break in. Going to order a rod off amain to replace after break in and saw the 3port p/s for $29 I believe. For $29 that would be a good back up or good for practice. Not racing as much but can't pass up a deal when I see one.

Any .21 Go will interchange with a Go. As for a Go rod in a V-spec, they are different lengths, suprised it ran.
