Moto: Do you have the 3-needle carbs yet and do you have any info on release dates for the PLUS? I may also be running buggy for Nitro Challenge 2012 in February and I'm planning now so I have enough testing time on the different configurations.

It's possible they had a bad batch. We never had any problems here with them. They have been the go to plug for most Taiwanese engines for the last couple of years here.

GO engines and Oddonell plugs.
Any post on that page pretty much shows that the 97T is the plug of choice.

I've been using the 97T for the last 4 years without any problems as with most other people, you'll probably find that they where running the same fuel as this is the most common thing to have a problem with from batch to batch & those that had the problems had them around the same time as well.

Yeah there must have been bad batch - got 97T plugs from 2 sources and one of them were rubbish - I blew plug within one run as I replaced it with Precirotate plug I finished all remaining runs without any issue and without need of retuning engine considerably (that it would be cause for blowing plug). Other batch was ok - I ran full meeting + long practice on one plug without problem - I decided to change plug to new one and blew 3 plugs from bad batch in a row.

GO+OD97t=:tire::D

i know they had a few batches pass thru that were crap, but that was when the "big break-up" between Steve and Horizon was just starting to make headlines....shouldn't have any worries for awhile.....if your popping plugs and are 110% sure it's not the motor or tune, just throw in a new plug, and keep doing so, your helping out the rest of us buying up all the bad ones!! :lol:

anyone have any used go pipes they would like to sell. maybe 2072 or something similar. pm me if you do thanks

Well I admit - while OD97T were working then they were working well. They just almost ruined one of my nationals when I had way too many faulty ones. I'm going for OS plugs for next year.

I know this is a long shot but does anyone happen to have a GO .25 cooling head? let me know, thanks!

I'm pretty sure I've got a couple used spares but if you want new I see moto has one. I'll look in the trailer tonight. Send me a PM to remind me!:nod:

Good to know there was some explanation for it, thx guys. I've had better results on the OD97T than the OS P3, so I'll stick with the OD. I wish they serialized their plugs so we could trash the bad batches.
