If anyone has a Werks or Sirio 2013 pipe lying around, throw that on the GXII-5RHO. You won't be disapointed :sneaky:

ive only used a jp4 and go 2072 on the old 5 port and the 2072 on the new GXII

whats the general consensus on the pipe(s) for economy, bearing in mind im in the uk and pipes have to be EFRA legal

Ruune 03-10-2011 09:32 AM

I'm having a lot of positive experience with the FEMCA 0801. Will try the EFRA 2072 and try to get you a comparison this weekend.

fastboy 03-10-2011 09:51 AM

well the 0801 isnt legal for over here so i guess i will have to see if i can get hold of a sirio 2013 pipe..is this the same as the werks 2013 pipe?

or what about the 2057?

The Sirio or Werks 2013 would probably be your best option if you want to go away from the 2072. They are pretty much identical. It will depend on what sort of track you run I guess. You will need to run the Werks shaped gaskets on these pipes for a good solid seal.
The 2057 (in the Werks version anyway) offers and extendable header system, so you can run the same pipe on different size tracks, or in truggy or buggy with the appropriate power bands to suit.

I have seen the GXII running with the 2072 in competition, and it wasn't lacking anything down low, or up top. So I would recommend the 2072 as a good all round pipe for this motor.
I will also be trying an 053 mid range pipe for buggy use.

We haven't had a chance to check out economy as yet, as both team motors I have here are still pretty tight.

Really? I thought all the IFMAR organizations' (ROAR/FEMCA/FAMAR/EFRA) approvals were universal? That blows.

efra pipes have to start with 20xx and be 3 chamber

Hey guys... Just thought I'd let you know that we are now carrying Pro Amps LiFE RX packs. I placed an order earlier this week, and they should be here Friday or Monday. Initial order is very small (only 6 stick, and 6 brick), but assuming these sell well, I'll be placing another order very shortly. The stick packs fit mugen-style battery boxes and the brick fit kyosho and losi.

Capacity is around 1400-1450mAh @6.4v, but I'll verify when they get here. These are military-spec cells, and come directly from the manufacturer. These are not rebadged cells.

LiFe. Lithium Ferrite (iron). 6.4v, balanced like a lipo, discharge like a lipo, no flambe-al-buggy like lipo. They wont catch fire if they're over discharged.
