Mid range - 2 turns out from flush at 2 oclock
Top 1.5-2.5 turns out from all the way in
Bottom 1/2-1 turn in from flush

Just an update on the motor problems. The Carb was out of wack. Motor is running awesome. The 5port has a lot of power for buggy. Too much. Need to get a different pipe to tame it down. The motor is a beast

Both of the arrow engines are smooth. But if the GTR-II Plus has too much power for your track, you can just pop put the P/S and install the older 3-port sleeve.

I have a gtr plus that I broke in with about 7 tanks before putting a race tune on it. It runs great and idles all day long and is super smooth. Only problem I'm having is that I have it running around 245 and I'm only getting maybe 7 minutes a tank on buggy on a small track with only one 80 foot straight away on the back. Any suggestions??

Fuel mileage will improve with each tank run. After about 2 gallons, it will have the best mileage. 6-7 min a tank when breaking in is normal.

Okay I figured it'd take a gallon or so to break in nice. I just wanted to be sure since this is my first run with these motors so far so good though!

I have around a gallon on mine now. The engine feels great and has power for days running at 230-240....The runtime still isn't up there yet, but even with an extra pit stop I was still able to finish 4th in Nitro Buggy at last weekends Roar Region 2 series. Great motor for the money.

I would lean it up a bit those temp are all low. It will help with mileage. When I run it at about 260's.
