The o-ring kit I got had undersized o-rings. If anyone is looking to replace o-rings, I'd recommend just searching for OS o-rings. |
its freshly rebuilt. actually I just got done running it on the starter box, my agama shocks haven't arrived yet so this is all i could do for now but wow I could instantly tell the difference. NO MORE IDLE ISSUES! I could put the trigger to the floor and then quickly let off and I was shocked to hear the idle instantly drop. it purrs like a kitten and keeps the same idle just sitting there. cant wait to get it out on the track!

On that note, the v2 Arrow had upgraded o-rings, correct? Does anyone know how to tell if the o-ring kit, A-ST-014, is updated? Or if Arrow is even putting new o-rings in A-ST-014?

Ive started running these engines this season and they are decent. First i used the jp pipes but i wasnt getting any run time. Now i runt the os pipes (2050, 2060) and they are great. The only thing is ithink i lost a little on the top end. Any suggestions?

This past weekend at local club race saw two of these motors run one much faster with better fuel mileage both tuned by same person only diff. The pipe one was running os 2050 the othere ae 2039
The ae 2039 had more top end power with better fuel mileage I am going to go with the 2039 ae pipe |
Raced my arrow this weekend with the Werks Carb. Was in 2nd place in B-main when bam, busted the rear drive shaft with 2 mintues to go:flaming:.
Other than that, the Arrow with a RE10 pipe ran great, no flameouts, good power. No one pulled it on the straights. Good Motor for the price. |

The 2050 has plenty of power but not so good run times the 2060 with d shape header is also good power but not so good run times looking to boost run time some maybe will try the losi version of 9901 pipe |
My engine is still too new to give accurate run times. I still have slight mechanical pinch and a rich tune. I am racing it Saturday on one of the largest tracks in the country. By the time races start all pinch should be gone and the break in shim removed with an aggressive race tune on it. I will be able to give good details on the 9901 pipe and runtimes. My home track is so large and wide open that 98% of the racers do not get 10 minute pits with any engine. So far I have been able to do it only twice with other engines and both times pitted with nothing but fumes left in the tank. We shall see........

So you guys are using an OS VZB or werks carbs on these engines? What about Nova carbs? Whats wrong with the arrow carbs?
