To belive it or not these throttle and brake servo take a big beating so if the end point and linkage ant set up right.or are to weak they will blow fast. Spend some money on the servo it worth the cash.

What chassis is this? The losi 2.0T have a major issue with wrecking throttle servos....

Started break in of the .23 and TB-1 pipe today... got about 500CC through it now and the engine sure sounds great, idles great and had has no issues with start up. Cant wait to get a few more tanks through this engine.

That great to hear. What was your setup like in the truggy. What stinger did you use. I had tried the 7.5 with m2c 4 shoes with hard shoes and 1.0 spring and a light fly with I think 8 grub screws in. Seem to have a lot of bottom end punch with this set up on the street.

Running the 7.5 stinger as of now, and the losi suggested competition clutch which is two aluminum and two composite shoes... Will know more once I can get it fully broke in. Has quiet abit of bottom end even being so rich. Pulls my truggy around just as easy as my .28 did with the same gearing

It'll only get better. I have a gal. through my .23 no flame outs or issues. Still has mechanical pinch. Has tremendous bottom with a 007 ht pipe and with the 0801 its a smoother powerband with more top less bottom, very linear.

I have always ran the kit clutch setup on a Losi and they work great. Dont go with 4 alum shoes as it will decrease life by 1/4.

So are you saying a four shoe setup Kills engine life. Why this is the first time I heard this can you x plain it please.

Jaz240 04-13-2014 10:41 AM

Pretty sure he means clutch life, not engine life.

MitchelG 04-13-2014 11:22 AM

1000+ CC through the engine before getting pushed out by the weather. I cant believe the pinch this engine still has!!! Finally opened it up a few times on the final tank i ran through it, cant wait to to try it with a race tune!

Yes sir, you are correct, the carbon shoes keep the alum from galling up and sticking to the clutch bell. I am going to try the Buku setup soon.

Ok I was reading it wrong. But I have never noticed the difference. I have noticed the 4 grab great compared to the 3. So it what I personally like.
