Here's a video of what the track was like from last year... It wad pretty close to this layout yester day http://youtu.be/P3OqNUmcst0
Hey I been there nice track. Are you sure your not too rich on the top or to lean maybe. I was thinking this was gonna have killer to end. Which reducer do you have in the tb1 pipe. This is coming from thinking of the clutch setup up is fine. How did it do on the tripple any trouble there.

The engine was running great... I went to the 8.0 in the exhaust and I could clear it with a few feet to spare... But the motor has SO MUCH bottom end that I think it could Handel going up a gear. I'd like to try it with the other Argus pipe some time too.

Dont get me wrong the motor has great top end, just that track has some very long straits.

If it got too much bottom end go to a softer spring in the clutch setup and soft shoes. What kinda of clutch do you have in the truggy.

that make sense. Maybe by then your finger will be a little calmer and not so happy to pull a wheeler lol. I hear this does seem to have a great bottom end. I am still waiting on track time too.

After further review, My clutch was worn beyond what losi considers " expectable limits " (24mm from edge of shoe across to edge of opposite shoe) SO it is possible that my clutch was giving me some trouble that day.

A few things with a break in bench. It is much harder to keep heat in, block off some air. I had to do some mods to get a filter on decent.

Thumbs up

I ran my RW Mod Argus R8 this pass weekend. Let me tell you bottom to mid thing was a Beast! Played with gearing and clutch adj. thru quals. And it ran with the Big Boys. Hopefully someone video'd it. Everyone didn't know what this engine was. I ran it on-road in my GT against Nova 9 Ports tuned engines. You racers will be very pleased with these engines! Sorry to drop in on you forums but just had to tell you guys.
