Ryan lopez has been doing GREAT with the GX5R....:nod:...

Pass the kettle corn Monty.:smile:

The problem I have with this whole useless debate is that in most cases we can't even use all the power these engines make. I think instead of focusing on an engine that makes stupid useless tire spinning bottom end, we should focus on a well built, high quality, fuel efficient engine. Peace.;)

I agree in some cases you can't even use the power you have, my tracks are so loose I run the Nitrotec with 14t clutchbell, steel flywheel, 2 comp 2 alum 2 green 2 gold springs.

riverviewrc 09-25-2010 07:55 PM

And for the added fun.. we have not watered the track the whole summer :lol: its reached high 30's this summer maybe even low 40's not a drop of water on our local track lololol other then random rain.

Some freaking dusty

I'm going to put a $500 Speed in a $900 Kyosho MP9 TKI2 "Spec-A". Will this guarantee me success?

an engine that has useable power is the most effective engine to drive :nod:

all people have their favorite products , some peoples favorite products are theire fav products because they get them for free and some peoples fav products are their fav because they are actual high quality products that they themselves choose to run ;)

i know what quality is and that is the deciding factor when choosing a product or new product :blush:

Well said buddy!:nod::nod:

just about every single engine on the market has ample power output enough for any buggy , it takes a special engine to feel as though you have enough power for a truggy but most engines out there still have plenty for this :)

i personally do not like an engine that has too much power in any area and strive to create an engine that has "the feel" that promotes faster lap times as opposed to the fastest straight away speeds ;)

DAM!!! kettle korn is almost gone , does that mean the thread is almost deleted?

If you want I can arrange for you to meet up with one of my boys over at Hardcore.. I will have my guy bring a modified JPX,B5 or maybe both. You can take the engines for a test drive, run them back to back with the FMS, swap controllers etc. ...Then you guys can compare runtimes, top speed, bottom end etc etc.... Both the JPX and B5 make crazy bottom end and I am curious to see how the FMS stacks up down low.....The only way you will know where I am coming from is if you actually drive an engine that I consider has a great bottom end... My comments on trying to tune the FMS to have more bottom end should not offended you so badly...But if they did I apologize and really feel you need to try the mod B5 and JPX to understand where I am coming from... If your interested PM me and we can try to make some arrangements....no need to fight on a forum when we can put the said engines head to head...

First of all.. you giving yourself waaaay to much credit to think i have time to attack you..... its all in fun... it aint that serious... :lol::lol: ... second of all.. ama GO get some sleep now... LOL
