thats pretty cool to hear ! I really look forward to hearing how you like the engine.... the mod EVO 3 is a really solid running engine, a little slow to fully wake up, but rock solid running with a really impressive performance envelope...bottom to top that engine has no gaps... its a horse out of the corners and will scream on top with the best of them.... Tho I will say the top end will take a little fuel before it fully opens up...they tend to be a little lazy on top till all the pinch is nearly gone.... One day the engine will just drop its nuts and pick up a whole new note on the top end, and from there every day that you drive , it will get faster and faster.....so keep that in mind ! However it will be worth it, as that EVO 3 fully tuned and broken in on a 086 has one of the nastiest exhaust notes your ever going to hear..they are loud and nasty !

I had a few questions about the crf 21 rev 2008 motor. I run it on 30% fuel and a 086 Dynamite pipe. I put an extra head shim in it and run the 7 restrictor. I run it in a mbx6T. Did you say that you got almost 11 minutes with yours? What was the temp range? Mine still seems fat somewhere because I get residue on the side of my body when running and I'm only getting about 8 1/2 to 9 minutes. About 250 for temp on a full tank. I have about 2 gallons threw it now. It is stupid fast and has crazy power. Any help? Thanks.

Your engine is stock ? I am not 100% what to expect for mileage with that engine.....

Your lucky to get 8 or 9 min. out of a 08 CRF. Crazy fast with horrible run times is what that engine is known for. There is no help, just run it and race it and have fun just don't lean it out to far trying to get run time because it's not going to be there for you.

how does the clocked jpx compare to a stock vspec?

never mind. Just saw video on you tube. Think i have my answer! I also noticed you dropped the head clearance in the middle of the video. Is that advisable? It was ripping shimmed for 30%

I also read somewhere (can't remember where) that if you use o.s. plugs the plugs will strip the head button on picco's. I will be running a stock mugen clutch setup, but i would like some idea's on how to tame it down if i find it has to much bottom and becomes hard to control. I was thinking of changing to a 14t clutch bell with dynamite aluminum shoes and .9 springs.

Should i try carbon or teflon shoes? Or should i just go stock and adjust from there (13t bell, aluminum shoes, .1 springs)

Basically from my experience is no clutch other then a M2C can handle the modified JPX 21.... most clutches will slag out, then in turn kill the bottom end response....

..well, I'm partial to blondes. The Clocked Picco and the B5 are the best truggy engines that I've run, with power from bottom to top, and great mileage when tuned to kill. I just ordered another 4 gallons of Clockwork fuel..once you run this fuel, it makes you wonder how you got along without it!

So at last we had some good weather here in Western Australia and was able to get my Clocked Ninja out on the track and give her a hammering!

To start with i was running a OS P4 plug because i usually like a cooler plug but ended up with the P3 and the engine seams to love the OS P3!! The engine was still butter smooth with more than enough bottom end, ripping top, smooth idle, and great run times! The ninja is a great engine, and after Neil puts the Clock on one it turns into a fantastic engine i have no trouble recommending anyone to try a Clocked Ninja! You will love it!

Just got back from the GLORCS race at Hardcore Racers RC Club in Flamborough, Ontario. I was running a Clocked B6 in buggy and Clockwork fuel in both buggy and truggy. I just started running the fuel at this event and I've gotta say, it's a great product. Until this point, I had been running Byron Fuel, and I'd say my temps are lower at the same level of power. Throttle response is snappier and my runtimes have improved by 45-60 seconds so far.

I've been having really bad racing luck my last few races and it didn't fail this time around, either.

I had bad luck in my buggy quals, got tangled up in traffic a few times and blew a brand spankin' new 7955 in the last qual. Ended up qualified in the C-main. I finished second and bumped to the B. I had a rough start, but I worked my way up to fourth and was on pace to keep moving up until I blew my rear diff. The B6 was really good for me this weekend. I had tons of speed on the looooooong front straightaway and enough torque that I had to be quite gentle with my throttle inputs going off the jumps. I'm thoroughly impressed with the powerband of the Clockwork Werks B6 and I will most likely replace it with another Clockwork B6 when the time comes.

In truggy I qualified into the A-Main with the Clockwork fuel. I retuned for a rather extreme temperature change about 5 minutes before the race. Unfortunately, the weather went back to what it was 20 minutes before the main and I flamed out several times before we were able to swap out plugs and retune for the conditions. We had it running well when I broke the steering linkage in the truck and called it a day.

I had my fair share of bad luck this weekend! Still had a great time, there's nothing quite like the atmosphere you get in the pits at an off-road race.
