It works well on my JP 8 port and Neal wants me to run it on my C6 USA this weekend. Typically it doesn't work well on OS 21's though. I've found the RE10 to be better than the 2060 on speeds and JX's. I think Neal is gonna test RE10 on the 25. It's a great pipe on speeds.

My Clockwork B5 performed flawlessly today. I over sprung the clutch for the slippery surface today and had my hands full. Even after a spring change the power was crazy. Had to ease into the throttle and it would still spin the tires halfway down the straight. Anytime at speed when running hard if i let off the throttle then pegged it again the front tires came off the ground. And it consistently gets 12+ minutes a tank on our poor mileage high speed track.

My B5 saw it's first main last night at the Nitro Pit. We ran 2 heats of open buggy so there were no class separations. I had to race against the pro's including Billy Fischer who obviously took TQ. 7 minute quali's and I was coming off the track with almost half a tank of fuel! I wound up with BQ but there were some drop outs so the combined the A and B main and I got an auto bump to start in the 10 spot. We were very short on pit men and marshals with 15 racers in the A main so the race was run with half the marshals missing. On the first jump I got tangled with another buggy and I got the worst of it. Sat there upside down for a good 30 seconds until a marshal finally got to me. Pitted at the 10 minute mark and climbed my way back to finish 9th overall which was obviously behind the 4 pro's in the race so I was very pleased overall with my results but not as pleased as I was with my engine. 10+ minutes engines are not that uncommon in AZ but 10+ minutes engines are very uncommon at the Nitro Pit. It is one of the biggest tracks in the world and very fast flowing. Neal's B 5 had all I would ever need at any part of the track and was capable of throwing my buggy around like a rag doll if I let it. I ran 75% throttle with 2013 pipe and M2C clutch with two red and 2 yellow springs to keep the bottom from hitting to hard. All weights added to the flywheel to help smooth it out. I was able to quad jumps that no one else could but that was not the fast line so I stopped doing that in the quali's. Engine was flawless all night and I had the tune perfect with a very low idle. Track was run dry for the main so I needed to be smooth to keep the power on the ground. What a great engine.

We have had 2 new layouts since febuary bud. The one we have now is pretty cool but not very difficult. It is free flowing mostly with some technical stuff in the infield. There is also a pretty cool on road section. There are 2-3 tough spots but nothing that can't be mastered after a tank or 2. When you come back it will be all new anyway as Joey likes to pull out all the stops. I was kinda dissapointed last year that Joey made such a technical track because his "parts breaker" tracks are the most fun tracks I have ever raced on and last Nitrocross I was running XRAY which would have given me an advantage In the heats because nothing could break that damn buggy!

Hey james that layout still close to what it was at the nitro challenge 2010? Man I think my 1st lap was well over the 1 min mark even the pros were only turning 45 sec laps. Just wondering. Definatly the largest track I have ever been on. It was intimidating at 1st.
