Wanted to let everyone know how excited I was running one of these engines yesterday. I put maybe 20 to 30 minutes of track time with a truggy. I was able jump stuff with this truggy that I could not with my own buggy just because of the power delivery. Allowing me to run super fast laps.

Okay, update on my Clocked O.S. 25XZ! Went out to the track today for some more practice time, but this time, I had my buddy pull out the stop watch so that we could get a bonafide number on fuel run time.. Are ya ready for this? I got 15:44 out of a tank of gas! Usable power up until 15:15 then it started to slow down and run on leftovers... 15:44 and I was not being the least bit consevative on the throttle either, I screamed my truggy all 16 laps on the track!
Power comparison was also made between my Clocked O.S. 25xz and my buddies stock O.S. 28.. My clocked O.S. 25 has noticable more bottom end, mid-range, and totally blows the 28's doors off on the top end portion of the powerband.. On the topend it will litterally leave the 28 standing still! Honestly, I just can't imagine that there is a more powerful, yet usable engine for an 1/8 scale truggy than a Clocked O.S. 25xz! BTW, my Clocked O.S. 25xz only has 3/4 of a gallon through it right now! With that being said, its still going to climb up in power and gas milage!

Neil, My B5 should be showing up today. Funny thing is, I was cleaning out my truck and found the paperwork that was supposed to go in the box with the motor. Let me know when you get it ( it should be comming from Virginia Beach and doesnt have any paperwork with it) so we can talk about it. Thanks

Finished the 1st gallon on my Clocked B5 Pro! So far I'm loving this engine. Long run times, easy to tune, smooth powerband. Nice temps too. It's nice and powerful, but I have yet to get it to the track and see what it's like in a race environment. Can't wait!
Thanks to Neal for taking the time to help me out with the clutch, head shims, and helping me get used to tuning it! You can't go wrong with him, he is a Grade A guy!

Honestly, I don't see why anybody that can't tune a nito engine
or know how to set up a clutch properly for a new engine should
be running a modded engine anyway. I've seen alot of this on here
latley. I don't see where Neal gets the patience to deal with all
the b.s.. Doesn't anyone take the time to learn anything on
there own nowdays. I guess it's easier to hold the radio in one
hand, the cellphone and tear wiping rag in the other.

Hey Neal, I tried to call you a couple times, but the phone is
always busy. Now I see why.
Anyway, have you had the time to do any work on my C6 ?
I know that there is alot more involved in modding an engine
for me, than for one of the blip-blip boys.
Give me a call if you ever get a break from your part time,
over the phone, babysitting job.

As an example, at first I had some trouble tuning, then he gave me some tips, and this time out I had no problems tuning it and getting it to run right, by applying what I learned last time. I probably would have figured it out eventually, but he speeded the process along. Teaching is a big part of learning.

And I can say I learned a lot more from Neal after two phone calls than when I self taught myself how to tune my last engine. And I understand how my engine works a lot better too.

"rageworks" and "Neal" represent the two different types of people that we have in this hobby for sure! Its no secret as to which one has a better attitude for business thats for sure! I had a slightly more than basic understanding of engine tuning before buying my first Clocked engine, but after only 5 mins on the phone with Neal, I now have a COMPLETE understanding of engine tuning! Now ive bought 2 engines from Neal and I will continue doing business with Neal as long as im in the hobby!
I have also taken some of the knowledge that Neal has passed down to me and given it to others in the hobby in the form of passed down advice.. Neals advice, through me, has now helped others too! Thats a good thing!

When you stop being teachable, you stop learning, and I never want to stop learning. Huge disadvantage there.
We can always learn no matter how much we know. I have never seen a group of people living in a vacuum as rc racers. It's quite funny and sad at the same time. Of course if the shoe fits......
That is why I ask alot of questions because IDGAF
