for smooth I would run the 2096 on short smooth header.......this will give you crisp, but smooth power and will still be ballistic fast if needed...runtimes reporting between 9-14 minutes in Buggy....just depends on the driver, tune and conditions.......... But in the end they are pretty much as good on fuel as anything else out there, fuel mileage is rarely going to be an issue with either of these engines.....
I love this engine!

What´s the difference between the cheaper plus 4 and the btt more then ceramic bearings when you are done with them?
I have heard good things about the plus 4, but what power caractere does this engine have in standard, compared to os speed for example?
Many questions here sorry. But want to know before I buy something

The BTTA that I run has steel bearings front/back but everything else about it is identical to the other BTT engines (i.e. tuned crank, conical piston, o-ringed head button and low CG colling head). Other than the head button and cooling head, not sure what other diffrences are between last years Plus 4 and the newer BTT lineup.
I can say that in stock trim, the Plus 4/BTT are no match for a stock Speed. This Nova is known for being a little light on the low end in stock form. Once Neal applies his mojo to it however, this engine is a different animal. Keep in mind, even when Clocked, the Nova BTT is a buggy only engine IMO.
I know everyone is loving their P5's and Bonito's, but trust me: If your looking for the smoothest buggy engine in Neals CRE lineup, look no further than a BTT. Plenty of power across the entire RPM range, awesome fuel mileage and top notch Nova quality.

Neal my brother will be ordering one of your CRE p5's today, he don't visit these forums, or any other. So he is going by what i have researched and found best fits his needs.
Looking forward to see one of these run in person...
Thanks..

Well I just joined the clockwork family with my new Bonito. Customer service is amazing I bought it on Sunday to be broken in by Neal and I got it this morning (Tuesday)...That is a fast turnaround. Now I can't wait to get her locked and loaded in my Mugen Truggy.
