Are they now, or when do you expect that the clocked werks motors will start coming with the new heads?

Our first shipment of the B5/B6's with the new cooling heads was shipped today and we will have them early next week.

Werks #6 plugs back in stock, Pro clutch kits in 32 & 34mm, light and medium, clutch tools, springs, aluminum & composite replacement shoes, are all in stock now as well. :)

We finally got a chance to do a little R&R the other day as the weather is beginning to cooperate.

A couple fun bash vids which we have not had the chance to do in quite a while.

This video shows just how long it's been since Neal had a radio in his hand

I kept having to dbl check to see if it was George driving or Neal:p

All in all, it was long overdue for us to just pack the truck with some gear and go burn a bit of liquid smoke. :tire: much more to come this season....

Anyone have a link the old werks head and new ones? I'm curious about the difference.

Maximo 04-20-2011 08:45 PM

it was great to get out.... Had fun making john dance a little !!! Being cooped up inside over a 6 month winter sure makes you appreciate the simplest things....It was about 32F and we should have run a little warmer plug, but regardless engines ran decent and I was happy to be outside ! ...

dreaux 04-20-2011 08:52 PM

still freezing up there? I love to run in the cold weather, they run so much better it seems. was that the argus in the truggy in the first vid?

Muggydude 04-20-2011 09:10 PM

Its still chilly up here... I forgot to bring a head sock, and had cold plugs in the engines...So it made tuning a little touchy, had to elevate the idle slightly to keep it stable..... However I did swap out to a hotter plug in the truggy for the second video and it stabilized the idle quite a bit better...Engines do run good in the cold, but tuning can be pretty touchy...

I am going to post vids of my clocked b5 in my buggy when I get it settled in, gonna be a blast! Might have to put a tungsten flywheel on it lol

Muggydude 04-20-2011 09:24 PM

I'm putting a steel flywheel on mine

motomanpat 04-20-2011 09:29 PM

All I know is there needs to be some foam on that hydrant:D Very excited that my B6 will be coming to me soon:)

Maximo 04-20-2011 09:39 PM

Thanks for the complements and for the business guys...we really appreciate it ! this year we promise to have piles more track and bash videos....As much as I love the track, sometimes it feels good just to go wide open and let the engines scream !
