Werks #6. Everything else is a little iffy with the mod B5.

Keith is using OS plugs here in AZ in both his clocked B5's and I have to say that he is not getting the same runtimes as I am using the Werks plugs. I think the Werks #6 is the perfect temp for these engines in AZ. Stick with the plugs that Neal recommends.

i figured as much. The reason I asked is because the p3 and 97t plugs are recommended for the b5 at amain and other places. Rubish!

Well ran the Clocked werks b5 again today in our Saturday club race at The World Famous Nitro Pit and everything went smooth. I qualified 3rd in expert right behind two factory drivers Team Durango driver Billy Fischer and Team losi driver Chris Wheeler. The main went well engine ran perfectly it was a little hot today so engine temps creeped up to about 270 it was about 98 or so today. I ran most the day at about 230 to 240 and the engine felt great all day. During the main I got by Wheeler after he crashes in a corner on the first lap and followed Billy for a few, Billy crashed and I got the pass to put me in the lead. I lead one lap in front of Billy and made a small mistake which then he passes me. I follow him again for another lap and he breaks right as we cross the line about 6 mins in just before first fuel stop. So I keep going and held off wheeler until about 3 mins to go. Wheeler caught me with about 2 mins to go we swapped lead position a couple times which he ends up in the lead. I crashed right in front of a corner marshall who was not looking when he flipped my car over he must of snuffed the pipe or hit the flywheel from the bottom side so I flame out with about 1 min to go. So I ended up in second not to bad I rarely run good enough to tangle with these caliber of drivers. I can't wait till I get another one of these engines........ :sneaky:

Are they now, or when do you expect that the clocked werks motors will start coming with the new heads?
