We should be able to, Trinity used a couple differenrt size rods in there engines as time went on. So if you send it in we can measure it and find the correct one.

Thanks,
Lance

Then I like to idle a non stop next tank. let cool. Then start doing the figure 8's. The 2 idle tanks just puts less stress on the engine for that fisrt run in time which has a lot of stress on it. When you are driving around even if you are driving slow you are still adding to the stress of the internal components.

And I alwaysm ake sure I am rich but not puking rich, which is hard on the engine as well as liquid fuel does not compress and adds stress to to the process. So you want it rich but not disgustingly rich"if you know what I mean"

Everyone has has different ways but I think and from all my years doing this its a for sure safe way to do it that always yeilds good results.

Ill keeep an eye out for your stuff and let you know when it gets here.

Thanks again,

Hey Lance what can you tell me about this combo? Theres also an Ascendency combo for the $220. Are these engines worth anything or are they the 3 gal type and trash or pinch? I have no experience with orions but a few locals like v6shooter use them and they seem pretty nice. Can you tell me in comparison what these run at or somthing? Im looking at the orion combos above. The lower priced one seems to be pretty nice its 5 port ceramic bearings. 3.5cc

The discovery is similar to a B6 5 port similar crank and port timing but with no cuts or bevels on the crankshaft, Its more of a budget engine so they left out some of the fancy crank machining. Its a decent engine though. Basically its like abudget B6. Ok bottom and good mid and top > if you can just get a B6.

The 3 port one you have linked Is based off a SIrio Cl3b which had awesome bottom and mid a little weak on the top, BUt IM not sure what orion did with this, Maybe they improved it somewhere. I have not has one in in a while. Unlike the discovery this is not a budget line orion so all the nice crank cuts and care has been done to it.

So from the Two The 3 port ABI would be my choice it is going to have more bottom and overall powerDiscovery will have asmoother feel on the bottom cause its a little weaker. So it deopends on what you like both are good quality engines.

Forgot ....You asked about the Ascendancy G5 I have not ran one one yet.

BUt as per Ascendancy they say they are the exact same thing as the now gone GRP .21 WHich I did run those for a while. They are a very smooth engine, not a powerhouse. BUt some poeple like that smoth controllable feel.
They have good mid and top end but just not the bottom end that a lot of of the engines have. I dont know if anyting has changed with the Ascendancy but with the GRPs they seemed to lose compression fairly quick like around 3-4 gallons start acting up from low compression. BUt like I said maybe they have addressed that with the G5. Quality and fit of the carb and internal parts are xlnt i do have to say.

Exactly why i sent my grp in love the power but my first jbrl attempt was last year and my grp was acting like a 5 year old who dropped his ice cream. Thing was running all over and ran real lean lol. You may notice that when u see the piston idk lol. But hopefully it can run a bit longer and i can get off the dynamite ban wagon. Even though i do give them some credit engines are real runners. Never a flame out or had a plug foul out since ive owned these suckers!

Also to V6Shooter aka Felix i will be in Barbera sadly missing jbrl and fth while the moogen sits lookin real good. LOL cant wait for some rcrenew stickers to make my ride a bit faster to. I have alot to choose from like a Argus hich looks balistic and the new GO which looks real cute and cant wait to see how Roberts runs, i heard she screams! So hopefully soon i can get in a new combo but so many to choose from! On the side note ganna try some new fuel to(well new to me).
