FTH is Full Throttle Hobbies. Pretty nice 1/8 track, was actually on the jbrl list last year. I really like the owner and son, there good people and I wouldn't be where i am without them! Actually were talkin about a new layout. Ill post a link i got on here of track pics and all. Maybe sometime you should swing buy Lance. I see you like truggy and sometimes we get a good turn out with pretty good drivers like Leeland Wolfolk, Matt Barton. Not intermediate like you but still some fun lol.

A sleeve pinched by lance is easily better then a new liner set. Just got 5 sleeves worked on by him, have ran/tested 3 of them and all 3 have more power output and better tuning characteristics then a new set. I don't know why, but it's possible I suppose that a new set has never made a seal yet and he does such a good job with the fitting that the second seal mates alot better. I guess this could be true with any sleeve set, it just so happens that he is far better then anyone else I have used!!!

Thanks Marcus I appreciate the feedback Thats basically the difference of how we resize our sets. We go for a "factory" taper and fit.

We adjust the taper in many different places on the sleeve, to create the best seal possible thru the whole stroke. Some engines even when fairly new dont have very good seal at the lower port windows. And thats what you are noticing. The engine will have a more solid idle, tune and just run better with that corrected.

Have a great weekend and again thanks for the update!

James, received your Baby today

Completly dissasembled the carb, case, bearings etc.... Got 99$ of the Gum and junk out of it. Then lubed it with after run and sealed up the carb like you requested. I did not seal the backplate so you can check out how it looks.

HSN o ring is a bit loose. I dont have any for that engine. Maybe Neal has them?

SHipped it out and you were e-mail'd tracking.

Thanks James

Yep, You will be happy it sparkles now inside

I was laughing so hard out at the shop today when I read your order form about the sign

I put there meaning signature and never thought of it that way but at least i know your a pisces...lol

Well Now I know a little more about you....
Pisces is ruled by Jupiter and Neptune. In ancient Roman mythology, Jupiter (the original ruler of Pisces) was the king of the gods, while Neptune was the ruler of the seas. When Neptune was discovered in recent times, it was attached to this sign. The pairing of these two heavenly bodies results in some unique energies being directed toward Pisces here on Earth. Those born under this sign are spiritually oriented and charitable. They are compassionate, easily feeling another's pain. At times, however, Pisceans can have difficulty distinguishing fact from fantasy; they tend to get caught up in their dreams and views of how things should be. To say they wear rose-colored glasses isn't much of a stretch. Pisces who fear that their pleas aren't being heard tend to lapse into melancholy and, worse, the kind of pessimism that leads to procrastination and lethargy. At times like this, Pisces would be wise to take time for themselves, the better to find their center once again. Many Pisces also immerse themselves in the arts and other creative pursuits as a centering mechanism, and they are quite talented in these areas.

LOL.........

That cracks me up.

we are in the age of Pisces right now, the symbol of the pisces (being the fish) is often associated with Jesus and early Christianity. This age is about to end (2012) and we will enter the age of Aquarius, the water bearer. we are about to be in galactic alignment which only happens every 26,000 years. Makes me nervous

We will be aligned with the nuclear center of the milky way galaxy The Galactic Alignment is the alignment of the December solstice sun with the Galactic equator. This alignment occurs as a result of the precession of the equinoxes. People can really only speculate what will happen. Some think there will be tremendous tidal forces, some say that the magnetic polls will flip. Maybe nothing happens. Who knows?
