Went out to Hobby Hut for their 'THE MELTDOWN' Trophy Race and was able to qualify 3rd for the mains against some great competition.
Had a great start in the main and took over the lead in the 1st lap only to give it right back in the 3rd lap... and dropped to 3rd...
I pushed a little and took that lead back the next lap...
I started to stretch that lead out corner by corner and was feeling really good.
Then around the 9 minute mark I decide to ride the pipe like my truggy was a monorail and that pipe had a different plan... spike stopped my car dead and I had to wait for a marshall
and the lead was gone and now I'm in 4th and now it's a battle to the front again
Ended the race in 2nd and I'm real happy with that
Much thanks goes out to Lance for the RCR modded .23 that is kicking serious butt on the track.
I have had a stock .23 and it just does not compare to the RCR .23
Lance keep up the great work!!

Thanks so much

Just fill out the order form from the website and send the engine and form in. You can either prepay on the website or we can email you an invoice after we receive your engine.

Thanks again,

Lance

Wanted to give a report on the Lutz WE modded by Lance at R/C renew. Raced the first round of the Southern Offroad Series Saturday at Dalton R/C raceway with my new MBX7 buggy so wasn't expecting much. The buggy was perfect as soon as I dropped it on the track. Was able to take TQ and by the end of the 25 min. main finished 2nd. Led most of the race but my old man eyes got blurry at about 20 mins. so made some mistakes allowing 2nd place to pass me. The engine ran flawless as usual even getting 13 min. run time on Friday night practice. I thought about doing a 1 pit strategy but wasn't confident enough to push 12&1/2 min. pit. Had lots of compliments on the engine. I was running the 0801 pipe and the track was high bite, more of a 1/10 scale track. I think my fastest lap was a low 27 with avg. in the mid 28's. This is the first time I ran this engine ( i borrowed it from my son) and it is one good power plant. Plenty of power yet smooth at the same time. We also used Lance's break in service and it made running it in and tuning a dream.

Just received the CVD pin tool the other day and changed out the pins in my Durango DNX408T. Tool worked great, I didn't even have to heat anything up, they came right out, and the new ones went right in. Tool already paid for itself!! Thanks!

BTW, it looks like the Durango pins are 13mm. Does anybody know where to get 13mm pins...all I can find are 10,12,and 14.

Mugen has 12.8 and 13.8 I believe that's the right length. I don't have them infront of me so I'm not 100%
