quick question for those that run the .23
What pipe are you all running? And what fuel % are you using?
I run 40% at 5500ft here in Colorado and am running the shims it came with.
I have no detonation and the motor has a little over 2 gallons on it. No issues but want to get the correct pipe for it.
Thanks

Just came back from the Region 4 ROAR Off Road Fuel Championship race in Spokane Washington. B03 and T02 performed flawlessly. In the the truggy A Main I was the only driver to do 10 minute pit stops!!!! I was able to finish in the 3rd spot after giving 2nd away!!!

In buggy my B03 was not quite as broken in as my T02 so I wasn't quite as confident about doing the 10 minute pit stops even though I could have with ease as I was finishing a 8 minute qualifing run with a 1/3 tank of fuel left!!! I finished in the 3rd spot in buggy as well.

Even though both engines were still new and tight, no one could pull me down the straight aways or infield and NO ONE was getting the run time I was. These engines are absolutely AWESOME!!!

Next weekend is Round 2 of the Canadian Off Road Championship Series at my home track, looking forward to see how they perform there!!

This combustion chamber has less volume compared to the original one. It is like using less shims but less dangerous because the button does not come too close to the piston at TDC in this way.

This will change the engine behaviour more then just changing the backplate.

With the .23 you can use the same pipes you are using with the .21, there is no real need to use a special pipe for this.
Running at high altitude might make you try the V1 combustion chamber, you will gain torque...

For those who owns b03 how much does it weigh (just the engine no filter no ingine mount no clucth no pipe) Iknow the pecs says 335g. Isthis correct? If so that would make it the lightest engine in the market with good power.

That is correct. I weighed mine as soon as I got it and it is indeed 335 grams AWESOME ENGINE!!!! Not only light, powerful but really lowers the centre of gravity

This weekend was Round 2 of the CORCS (Canadian Off Road Championship Series) and did my Tecnopower engines impress the hell out of EVERYONE!!!! Not only were the engines making great power but on this very loose and bumpy track I was the only driver in both 1/8 Buggy and 1/8 Truggy to pull off 10 minute pit stops in the main!!!

Ultra smooth power out of both engines, reliability and a idle that would go all day long!!!! I really can't say enough about these engines. Definitely worth giving them a try if your in the market for a new engines. And I highly recommend a P4 plug

Here are some pics of my cars just before the race

That sounds like the piston and sleeve are do. No compression
At temps.

it does seem to hzve low compresion but it did work in the winter running at the same temps.

Thumbs up

Hi Richard, very nice indeed. Just got a B03 myself for Buggy with the 2034 pipe and the speed header - just sitting there waiting for run in. Interesting to see the model number of the engine in your Truggy appears to be blanked out - you testing a prototype model? Is it a 0.21 or a 0.23? Has anyone tried the B03 in Truggy? I haven't even run the B03 yet and I'm already thinking about another TP for my Truggy...........
