Can anyone in Australia recommend a transformer to use with the 120v AC version?
Also can anyone confirm how many watts it requires or how many amps it draws?
It's the deuce 2.
There is a 50 watt transformer at the local hobby shop I'm just not sure if that's enough..
Thanks!

Best idea is to pick up a replacement element from A-Main. Be either the element itself or where the wires enter the element. Be careful not to pull the heater off the cooling head by the wires. These units are generally really reliable and carry on happily heating for a couple of years easy.

Can anyone clamp the wires to see how many amps this thing pulls? Or use a meter to measure how much resistance the coil has? Then it's simple math to find out how many watts it pulls.
I believe the battery warmers I sell are only 50 watts. So I'd imagine that 50 should do, but not sure.

Keep it below 15ish just to be on the safe side.

^^^ I just got one off eBay recently very cheap, less than $20 new. Despite being “modified” (I cut it in certain areas) it does not fit my B2102 very well. I wish more companies made heaters to fit low profile cooling heads. The only company I know that does is in Europe and I’m not sure if they are around anymore.

Morpheus1289, after competition heat disappeared I chose to buy a nitro engine head warmer from IB-prostart in England. Good quality, although it doesn't get as hot as the competition heat did, but maybe that's why the element on the Competition heat burnt out. Shipping took less than two weeks to Canada. If you check out ibprostart.com you will find they have a low profile heater that I believe fits your b2102, there is a picture of Ty Tessmann's buggy with a IB prostart on the head.
