COMPETITION HEAT INC.

Our product is due to release in early march, our goal is to be ready for PNB. Since there is a buzz about engine heaters, here is our official announcement.

Competition Heat Inc. is proud to introduce the .21 R/C racing engine heater. This technologically advanced R/C racing engine heater is the results of 40+ years racing experience by it's designers. The Competition Heat .21 engine heater offers some of the same technologies used by the aerospace industry, Formula 1, Indy car and NASCAR teams.

The Company. Competition Heat Inc. is excited to be part of the growing R/C racing community. Competition Heat's inception is a direct result of the economic down turn of late 2008. After being laid off from the racing industry (NASCAR Nationwide Series) in Feb of 2009, the founder/owner decided to R and D a concept used in the upper levels of motorsports. An avid R/C racer himself since 1993, he's had the opportunity and privilege of racing at tracks in southern California like The Ranch Pit Shop, M@M and Revelation.

The Competition Heat .21 engine heater is an idea that was conceived a few years ago and has been thoroughly tested with Superior results on .21 racing engines. Our goal is to provide our customers with a superior product and technology that will maximize Life and Performance of R/C racing engines.

We will post some sneek peek pics later in the day...

We are far from being new to R/C tech... just decided to use the company name as a new username.

Your goal is to be ready for PNB...does this mean you will have some for sale there? I'll be there....and was just looking at another engine heater. If yours will be reasonably priced, and more advanced....I may look into it ;-)

At this time we are right on track to to attend PNB. This heater has some really cool features. We are reluctant to release every feature and detail at this time because we have worked long and hard at testing and the design of the heater. We know we have to let the cat out of the bag, but we want to wait as close to the release date as possible. It will not disappoint. We will have a pic. up soon. Thanks.

Good luck in your endeavors and I will spread the word when I see a more finished product

No problem, I completely understand. Like I said in the first post I started racing in 1993 1/10 nitro truck at The Ranch in pomona, Ca. My background in the racing industry is extensive, from owning a race team to working in the Craftsman truck (at the time it was still Crafteman truck Series) and Nationwide series. In our off seasion (winter) we would race R/C until racing season started. I purchased my first 1/8 scale buggy (Kyosho Kania 3) in 2004. This would be the first time I experimented with the heater technology after seeing it used in upper levels of motorsports, I just did not have the time to develop the heater.

I am interested in checking something like this out myself. Now that I am getting a little more serious about racing, I am looking to take better care of my more expensive motors that I would of in the past. I was just running the cheap RTR type motors in the past.
Is it gonna be AC or DC powered? Any idea on how much $$$$?

Thanks,
Stephen

We have only seen a picture posted in another thread. The guy (mark) sounds very knowledgeable and is correct in his analogy of properly heating a racing engine. Effective heat saturation of critical internals, crank, con rod, piston and sleeve are key to racing engine life and performance. Thank's for the well wishes Monty...

So your new engine heater is not the same one that
PowerHouse is marketing? Do you or your company
have any affiliation with Mark at PowerHouse at all?
Is there any data on the tests you have preformed
on your new engine heaters?
