Thanks for the info... Can you tell us what brand/model converter you are using. I think this will be great information for Europe and UK customers.

Who knows what brand it is as we have like 4 major electronics stores in country and they all sell the same model under different names

I picked up 100W model (for 60mins max) with 75W continuous capability and it does not even have a manufacturer name as it is some OEM made for the electronics store

(same image I posted several pages back)

There are places in the UK that do 100w 240-110v Converters under the Mercury and Skytec brands. Are around £15-£20, although may find better prices if you shop around.

Maplin do one that looks the same for £12.99 (+ postage). link

Recieved my heater and used it finally this week. It works awesome, preheated to over 200°F and heated the chassis very nicely. Motor started easy and was easy to tune. I would recommend one no problem. And yes they smoke when new just the like the instructions states. Very happy with mine.

Only two small things I would like to see on the heater is an inline rocker switch for on/off and a stiffner in the material on the adjustment area. It is a little difficult on the Plus 4 motor to get it over the head easily when hot (changing from buggy to truggy) BUT do not let this stop anyone from buying this heater. Not sure on longevity but out the the box a very good product.

Bought mine from Mark at Powerhouse.

Had the chance today to use my competition heater that I purchased from houstonengineservices.com and the thing is sweet. Only suggestion I would make is to possibly use a different connector, mine tends to be a bit finnicky going together sometimes, but overall a very sweet product...

Just wanted to say "Thank You" to all of our Comp Heat customer's. The last couple of weeks we have been on full tilt (not complaining) especially in Europe, looks like Comp heat is spreading like wildfire.

My heater payed big dividends this past weekend. Was only in the low 40's and windy all day. Kept the trailer at a modest 65 and the Competition Heater had the motors all nice and toasty before every heat! No trying to warm it up on the track. Would of been a while in that cold weather. Thanks again for the awesome product!!
