Yes sir! That's what it's like. A P3xlt. Basically a 3 port P5. Hehehe

I been sayin that since it was released. No one believed me though. It's good to hear it from the Novarossi man himself that I wasn't wrong.

Alan, when or if you already have worked with this engine will you let us know if you have any mounting problems...8t 2.0, losi 2pc mount, R21...we had to mill out the holes on the motor tab to get it to line up with the mount.

The engine looks good inside. Novarossi machine work is shown throughout. Its cleaned up and ready to start breaking in this weekend.

On any Nova motor with the 2 piece losi engine mount do not elongate the holes. This doesnt fix the issue. The problem is the top block needs beveled where it comes in contact with engine case. Right in the corner where the mount tabs are the nova block isn't machined in far enough to accomadate the losi top block. If you don't bevel the top block you are really stressing the case. Just making the holes bigger still doesnt fix this because when you place your engine onto the base you really have to force it because now the alignment pins are off. I spent a couple hours getting very agitated before I finally figured it out. Once you bevel the top blocks the engine sets right on the base like it should with no force.

This applies to all NOVA engines that are used in the LOSI cars with the quick change engine mounts.

Ran mine last night at The Nitro Pit and it worked awesome! The power band was great and fuel milege was ok considering it is not fully broken in yet.

just so it is clarified as to exactly what this engine consists of

it is a 3 intake port design with single exhaust
it uses crank 15009 out of the p5xl/t and p3xl/t
it has the new cnc milled piston with adjusted piston skirt
it uses combustion chamber #28002

all in all it is pretty much a p3xlt engine , that is more than likely why novarossiusa doesnt have the p3xlt engine on hand

it is novarossi quality and i am sure will be winning races soon

viva la novarossi!!!

No problem. I wouldn't want someone to ruin an engine because of something as simple as the fix.

Nova 9901/41021 in buggy; 9853 in truggy of what is currently available on the market.

If you wait just a few weeks, I'd wait and get the new 2084.

So whats the difference between the 9901 and the 2084? Should I still use 41021 with the 2048? The Nitrotec is going in a 2.0 EU...
