Travis Dupree and Mike Kendall they are both losi drivers.

I think Mike will be running this motor as well and both of these guys are fast as hell. It will be some great racing to.

Taylor James is now running for Losi and the Nitrotec

Mike is running the Nitrotec, I got to race with him at Thunder Alley in Wilson NC this past Saturday and at that time he had only run a quart and a tank of fuel through it and it idled and ran unbelivably smooth. Not a whole lot of power yet but still enough that he had no problems at anyplace on the track. I'm not going to be running in the Pro Series event at the Turkey Farm but I am going out there to talk to Mike and Travis about the Nitrotec and what they have learned, the more I look at this motor the more I like it.

I'm not sure if I'm going to have the money and supplies (tires, fuel) for that event. Mike did pretty much like he always does, firts place! I ended up Sixth. All in all not too bad. And smitty check your pm's.

Think of it running *almost* as strong as a +4 or +4C basically. It's missing a touch of "smoothness" and a little on the very top end but not much.

It's a great 'bang for your buck' engine.

A little update on my Nitrotec Losi engine. Have now about a gallon on it and the fuel economy is 11-12 minutes. I actually think I like the Losi RE11 pipe instead of the 2013. Runs 220 range with the RE11 compared to 200 range with 2013.
Just might be my personnal preferance. Will try it again back-to-back to get more time on it. So far, the engine is really coming to life already. Really happy with it.

Now that outdoor season is underway how are these moters still fairing? Luv my vspec power but mileage is lacking. How does the nitrotech compare to the os apart from the obvious. 2013 still the favorite pipe, which brand?

I ran mine the first time in truggy this past weekend and made 10 minutes easily. I was running the 2064 pipe with it also.

How does this engine do in a truggy? Got enough muscle to get it done? What restrictor are you running to make 10 mins?

Yes the engine is powerful enough for truggy. I will check tonight and see what restrictor is in mine.

Wow, 6.5 restrictor in a truggy? This engine probably runs real strong with an 8mm in there. What's a good plug for this? OS and O'donnell plugs are easy to get where I am.

OD if you have to.....OS taper will mess up the head button.

The preferred plug would be a NovaRossi 6, but Odonnel plugs are fine too. It is NOT recommended of using OS plugs, the taper is different and they will not seal properly!
