thats good to know, I actually have a brand new 2 speed clutch in the package, might just install anyway. My truck has been shifting really good, so I didn’t even think of that. Thanks again brother

Anyone hear anything about Novarossi not reopening. Possibly permanently.

from what I’ve heard, the latest info from Facebook says they are going to reopen in august I believe. Apparently there’s a paragraph somewhere where one of the novarossi owners personally states this. In the mean time though, many rumors have been going around of their demise, but no concrete evidence besides everything being out of stock, which is understandable given the fact that the novarossi factory has been closed since March. Hopefully we all hear more information by the end of July, or early August.

Not gonna happen.
Microengines are to Italy what mechanical watches are to Switzerland, just on a much smaller scale. If need be, the government will bail them out if they hit a financial bottleneck. The EU aleady subsidizes Xray for probably the same reasons.

Is it? I know the build of the Xray complex is done with money from the EU but now they did get support due the Corona situation? Weird enough Xray did introduce new 2021 models so it seems there is still some activity....
Novarossi however.... Italy is asking for a huge support from the EU. The Netherlands refuse to give them the money but want to do it as a loan with which many countries does not agree. Problem is that many south European countries need and did get a huge support allready in the past years but refuse to make changes like in Italy a lot of people and companies do not pay tax.

Hey guys, quick question for you all and I hope this is the correct section for it. I have a novarossi Ielasi tuned .28 3 port engine in my losi lst using the stock exhaust system. I plan on replacing the stock header with a 41017 nova on road header to extract the full performance from this engine, since I believe the stock header and losi pipe is really holding it back. Anyway, do the novarossi off-road pipes fit the on road headers? Thinking of getting a 9853 pipe, or the 9901 pipe with the 41017 long on- road manifold, and just want to make sure they both fit together correctly. Or if I can use a different brand pipe with the novarossi header for example. I have a reds 2104 unused laying around I would use if it worked. Any input would be appreciated, thanks in advance

Yes they fit. I use an off-road header w/ a on-road pipe on my Cobra GT.

well ive made myself a mutant motor. took the crankshaft from my mephisto gt5, the piston and sleeve from a keep off 7 that i opened the exhaust port so it closes in the center at the same degree the two outside ports close as well as some cleaning and reshaping of the four small booster ports, just cleaned any flashing from all the other ports. shimmed with three .030 and one 0.010 shim, ct6 plug(could drop the 0.010 and run a 6 or 7 depending on weather) 41001 9901 pipeset.
just testing around the house so far. going to try the 2135 and some other pipes when i can get some track time in.
I also opened up the exhaust port on my silver head karma that i haven't run in just about two years, i added a few degrees to both the opening and closing of the crank a few years ago and it made a difference but not a huge one.it was always a little soft everywhere but now shes snappy like a btt with a bunch more top end than it had. I opened up the port quite a bit and am actually surprised it didn't lose anything but im sure it had RTR engine like timing numbers to begin with.

Novarosi is still down and so you do not get novarossi plugs.
I tried instead a OS P3 plug but the engine hast not the same power and has not the same stable running as with CT-06 plug.
Does anyone has an idea which plug can be used or an idea what has to be done to get the engine rinning like with novarossi plugs ?

P3 is a way hotter plug then the Nova plug. I was also struggling to find plugs. I was able to order some from Monty Houston @
https://www.houstonsengineservice.co...083df88a39c624
Hopefully there is no damage to head button as I’ve heard not good to go to an O.S. plug then back to Nova bc of taper or something.
Ive also heard there is an equivalent O’Donnell plug think it was a 77 but not too sure.
Best to you bud and hope this helps out some.
