Herrsavage 11-06-2015 11:36 PM

If I were in the market I'd definitely get the Elite 8 from novadirect for 199 bucks.. No-brainer.

Edit - Oh, you're in Australia.. OK, maybe a bit more of a brainer...

Elite 8 or Legend .25
Both are stout, but the Elite 8 is my Truggy motor of choice from Nova, with the Legend .25 a close 2nd.

Doesn't Aus have a Novarossi distributor similar to Nova Direct? I think they have a FusionX dealer too iirc.... anyway Elite 8 is a good one. The Fusion X7 is also a good choice for truggy too.

Mito 4 vs Legend 4. For buggy. Who has used both?

qstorm777 11-10-2015 03:22 PM

Motor selection

I hate to piggyback off the previous post, but on a more general term, I'm interested in the differences in the legend, elite and mito lines too. I can't tell how the different lines compare vs each other. I would like to throw the virtus in there too. Then 4 vs 7 port and 5 vs 8 port. I'm looking for both bug and trug.

There's a reason several factory drivers still use the Legend and not the mito...

BigInJapan 11-11-2015 12:22 AM

So can you describe what this reason is (without taking your gun out lol)
Adam Drake wins plenty with the Mito 4
Kyle McBride ran Mito well at Silver State
Jakarta championship first 2 places were Mito 4, ( legend was 4th )
Etc etc

The one driver isn't the other so hard to tell if this is the engine or other factors.

But I can imagine it is a price desission. The legend is cheaper to buy and in maintenance.

anyone use the elite 5 in a truggy and what r ur thoughts? also the same motor in buggy?

I have zero experience with the mito. I can only go off what I'm told.

I do have experience with the legend. It's a really smooth and powerful motor.
