which way he pistonrod comes out ?
the hole side or the plain side ??

It's easiest to pull the wrist pin clip off of the side with hole ;)

Tomorrow is the first day I'm trying out my Toro Nero on my truck. I'm so excited! It's had around a gallon at the moment so I might lean towards a decent tune.

not too sure about the pipe , everything else sounds ok

probably out of whack on the carb

drop shimming down to .70mm and i would suggest a 9901ss/41021 for buggy ;)

thanx monty a fellow racer suggested that or the 9853 pipe and a 7 restrictor also said might be too rich on top and a bit lean on the bottom, this is my first nova, tunes a bit different

2013 pipe makes great power on a p5 , not usually great runtime but great power

I ran my toro nero for about 3 tanks last weekend. It still has a slight metal pinch so I know it doesn't perform optimal yet; but man it screams!
I run a 13t clutchbell, 9901 with long header and a 6.5mm venturi. It even still ran a bit fat on top. I know I'm gonna like this engine

just rebuilt my 21-4 with new nova ceramic bearings and a new rod and wrist clips.

whats the usual process for firing it up with these new bits. engine heater and a couple of heat soak tanks?

Always preheat but no break in required after replacing these pieces

Hope this helps

Houston

I have novarossi plus 4.

with 4 gallons on it.

I have a problem, I cannot get the engine to idle consistently, sometimes the idle is perfect and sometimes it's rich.

what could be the problem ?

should i change to new bearings ?

or change new carburator

thks
