NOVAROSSI Engine thread....

I think more in line with 4 to 5 gallons and you feel safe, 5 to 6 gallons you might start getting ghost flameouts. Of course I am also in Vietnam with crap fuel and lots of heat. My Nova based Fusions are doing well, still high run time 9 to 10 minutes at 6 gallons and reliable. We also are running 1 hour mains, last time I used my 6 plus gallon X3LFM (mod) engine I got 9:40 run times with enough for one more lap but then bone dry and in the one hour main I had one flame out at the 45 minute mark, might have been fuel or something else but my last pit stop I pushed past 10 minutes and it quit going to pit lane after my final lap I was at 10:02 when she cut.

Hi Guys.
I'm off to a big race on Thursday and have a quick question.
I'm 90% done the break in of my RB motor. I've been using Nova C6TGC plugs. Still on the first one. I will be picking up a few spare plugs and was going to get the same ones.
I was going through my hobby room and found a bunch of Nova C6Tc plugs.
What is the difference? Will these work just as well?
Thanks

Novarossi Rex Legend 4 has a lot more power. The Legend 4 is an updated and more powerful Keep Off 4
Very strong bottom end and mid range torque on the Legend 4 with only a small (5.5) venturi. Top end good too and without a doubt one of the best buggy engines i have ever used in my opinion

Same basic engine, different crankshaft.
The only real difference I can find is it uses 15005 crankshaft, which I think has been around for a fair few years. (I seem to remember a JP modified 15005B) It only says 15005, with no "T" on it, so it probably is not changed/"tuned" either.

It depends on what you want, The 4BTT is a far less powerful engine than a keep off 4 let along a legend 4
Many people dislike the 4BTT because of its lack of torque... some people love it, You need to think about what tracks you will use it on and what you want to expect from your engine
The crankshaft has all the good bits .. which is all but completely irrelevant to the performance anyway
The Legend 4 has the same carb as the Mito with the middle mixture screw, Also a different case as well as crank which give performance characteristics all of their own.. Legend 4 is a very strong buggy engine which for many people would be right at home in a Truggy
