10.5 MUFFLER RULES
10.5.1 All vehicles raced at a ROAR-sanctioned event must be equipped with muffler that complies with the following specifications.
10.5.2 The muffler/pipe must be of a multiple chamber design with an internal or external silencer. The maximum inside dimension of the exhaust outlet pipe is .5 inches (13mm). On STC and Sports/GT vehicles, the muffler stinger may not extend more than .4 inches (10mm) outside of body. On Formula vehicles, the muffler stinger must exit within the body shell side pods and point down towards the track surface.
10.5.3 Maximum noise level allowed is 85 dB(A) measured at a 90 degree angle to the direction of travel of the vehicle at a distance of 33 feet, 3 feet above the ground, with the engine at maximum throttle and at all speeds. The Race Director may decide on a different method of noise measurement as long as the results are the same. If there is no noise level equipment available, the Race Director can decide whether a vehicle that produces a noise level in excess of other cars will be allowed to compete.

9.2.4.2 is likely to be the correct section.

No big deal buddy. I was just giving my opinion from trying the 9901 9886 2058 and the oldest Nova pipe I know of the 9886. I say run whatever you think works the best or is legal or whatever. I like the 9886 and 2058 because it works great on so many engines they are always a safe bet to have in the pit box. He said his engine mod guy recommended a more open pipe and the 9886 certainly fits that request. The 2058 I think I heard is a 3 chamber pipe so that may be legal and it seems to just always work great. Sorry for upsetting you. I was just trying to help.

Well in that case I'm sorry too, I didn't mean to come off as upset.
2058 is the "wonderpipe" people seem to like on every engine.. I don't have one myself but everyone keeps saying it's great on XZ-B, BTT, on anything.. and it's legal too

All the races here don't use ROAR or any other rule book. Run what you have. That is the same at most places I have raced in the US as well. All I have is Nova Rossi and OS pipes though.

Yes we have done it for years. 25% is the fuel they run in Europe.

Compared to the previous p5, the clio p5 has:
-moderately more aggressive crankshaft timing
-cnc machined team piston
-low profile cooling head
-new carburetor
It should have slightly more power and speed, and due to it having the team piston it should last slightly longer.

The only real internal performance benefit over a p5 is the team crank in the clio. I ran a p5 with a team crank once and I could not tell any performance gain at all. I did feel a gain from the stock crank by having the crank Houston Tuned. Much better.

Thanks for all the recommendations on pipes. I started breaking with the 9901 and 021 pipe set.
