Thanks, I ended up going with 9901ss/41021.

What lube will you use?

And other than that, its a damn perfect method to break-in your engine. If you use the heat-cycle method, you can only run your 6% mix for the first 3 periods at idle speed and the the next 3 x 10 min runs where you only open the throttle 1/4.

You'll need 16% nitro or more to make the rest of the heat-cycle.

Good luck :)

I dont get it, i only have Byron prodriver 25%/9% and sidewinder world 25%/12%... I did order the byron loop booster but get will get a month to receive it... Can plz describe in detail...

Ahhh ok. You dont have the 6% nitro fuel. Then go with your Byron 25/9. You'll need to add 100ml of Byron loop to get +11% oil in your fuel. Or as Anders (AM) suggested go to a health food store?? and get 100ml of pure castor oil / American oil / ricinus oil.

You can heat it up with a heat gun and it will come right off.

kgombe 07-02-2014 06:26 PM

i just spray wd 40 let it sit.. and it should pry off.. make sure you clean the clutch off with alcohol after

Chris Reilly 07-03-2014 05:38 AM

Does that mean the bearing spun on the crankshaft and put a groove in it?

Spray the bearing with some type of penetrating oil, let it sit, get a set of dykes or wire cutters, try and grab behind the bearing. The shape of the tool will just get behind the bearing and should allow you to pry it up.

I'll try the rest of these suggestions when I get home. Yesterday I managed to actually break the bearing so now only the inner race is stuck on the shaft.

and no the bearing was not seized up so it should not have made a groove
