Rex,

Can I make a collet to do the same with a 3 jaw chuck on a lathe?

You could make a sleeve to go over the crank and slot it. A 3 jaw chuck may work to hold on to the crank, maybe put some tape on it so it doesnt mark it up.

Make a Google search on "Novarossi 16006" or get it straight from Monty :-)

On Novarossi' homepage you can find all the part numbers for your engine:

Are these a new line of motors from novarossi or are they replacing the keep off's?

I'm just guessing here, pure speculation, but I'm assuming this is just a facelift/rename of the P5XLT and that sort of range of entrylevel-marketed engines, trying to appeal more to young people I guess.

Anybody want the bloody engine?
Bloody Off-Road .21

Displacement: 3.5cc
Ports: 4
Crankshaft: Turbo SG – 013
Carburettor: 09 reverse
Glowplugs: Turbo C7TF

beidle99 12-21-2013 02:47 AM

By looking at the pic of the new engine line. Looks like only 2 engines will be for off-road, The Bloody and the Loco.

Who thought up those names.. I mean what customer groups are they trying to reach, Twilight-vampire-fans or what..?

From the name you get no idea what sort of engine it is, bloody? Well fangs usually come in pairs, does that mean it's a two-port?

P5 - yes, you know it's a 5-port. 4btt, yes it's a four-port. Bloody? Does it have something to do with blood-diamonds or vampires? Live? Does that mean we need pay per view subscriptions or DSL to get one?

I just don't see the reasoning behind these names.

+1 I agree. First Keep Off or On, now we get Bloody and Loco.

Clearly the head of marketing there at NR has gone insane..

The Keep names were bad enough. Now he's just lost the plot altogether. What's next after the threatening "Keep-off", followed by the more explicitly violent "Bloody" - the Prison Time, or Death Row?

what size bearings does a nova 21+4 require, i need to replace mine and am unable to find a straight answer, it is a nova 21+4, steel bearing engine. I plan on replacing the rear bearing with a ceramic, leave the front as a regular steel, or should i just put 2 ceramics in it?

Rear bearing is 14 x 25.8 x 6 I would go with the steel nova 17011 front bearing and ceramic rear.

Are the names because of Amanda Knox?
