Thanks.

drop the Byrons race in favor of Werks or Bones brew fuel ( Byrons race gives up noticeable HP to these other 2, especially bottom end crispness )
Thank you Neal, I will give this a try and see how it goes

or just try to use higher stall clutch and make sure you have the right clutch bell (losi branded) not a protek or similar as they are different i.d. and will cause the shoes to engage much earlier than they should

try all aluminum with either all gold or 2 green 2 gold or 3 gold 1 green

light blue shoes

.21 Keepoff 21-4 or XL vs. .25 Roma

Looking to get a new Truggy motor for racing. Race mainly on tight tracks which require more Mid range than all out Redline top end.

What would be the best motor for Fuel economy and Mid range punch?
What pipe would work for reckomended motor?

I thought your bonito was broke, the pipe won't work on a broke motor

I've never run one on a Bonito or a truggy but I have yet to find a motor that a 2013 isn't at least really good on. I've run them or worked on cars with them on every onroad motor out there plus offroad Werks, RB's, P5's, Piccos, BTTs, OS, and even a .28. IMO, it's the most versatile pipe on the planet. Only 2058s and the old Novas like 9886 and 9853 come close. Try it. I guarantee it will work well. Whether it's the best or not is up to you.

Not to mention, that sweet note they sing! My favorite sounding pipe, hands down....

My Bonito is perfectly fine. Its been sitting up waiting to break you off with ..Btw, has anyone tried a 2013 on plus 4 tuned? I just picked me up a nice good used one and I'm trying not to spend on a pipe right now.The only other pipes I have is an 086 which I use on my Bonito which I like to keep intact in my trugg and I have an efra2071 (re11). I'm going to be running the plus 4 in my buggy. Thanks for all the feed back

hey guys I need a hand yall

I was running a btta in my mbx6rt and was killing 1.1 mugen springs every run

I was going through 3 a run arfter I killed 9 springs I actually swaped motors out for a speed

ive always run 1.1 in my buggy this is the first time I ran a mugen truggy ?

the springs wernt burnt or looked hot clutch bell however was slightly blue

did they over heat you think ?

Most steel gets a bluish tint around 780°f. So I would say you had a lot of slippage going on.

Hey guys. I have a nova plus 4 btt and a nova p5xlt. Both engines scream down the straight and have great acceleration but when I pull in for fuel, they are both running at about 290-300 degrees. They both look like steam locomotives with the good smoke coming out the pipe. Both engines are sealed with lucky 7. Is it time to replace the front bearings? And would a bad rear bearing make the temps rise?
