Yes. But i would stick to those temps until you have more than 2 gallons through it, then lean that sucker out.

P5 Flames out after refueling
P5 with 9901/41021. What could be causing this issue, it happened to me three times during a 30 min. main event. Brand new plug, temps at around 225 deg consistently. a local racer told me it could be that the motor is too rich on the low speed needle, he is knowledgeable but I want to make sure before I start messing with it. He also recomended to use a C5 plug instead of the C6.
Thanks in advance, jb |
Flame outs depend on the car. Mugen's tend to have a lot of flame out issues. Might try to lengthen your fuel inlet line..

I have a MBX6r and my buddies are running MBX6 MSPEC's and MBX7's and flame out's have never been a issue with our Mugens. I can say that our cars during races are some of the only one's that DON'T flame out. It's all about engine tuning, care and maintainence. Andrew |

MBX7's have a clunked tank which make flame outs much less likely. Mbx6's are notorious for having flame out issues (I run a 6r and haven't had any issues but know lots that have)

Currently running a 9901/41021 combo on an Fusion X5 and a Nova BTT. Any thoughts out here on what will happen when I switch to a 2096/41001 combo? I'm thinking it will pull harder from mid to top, more top-end power and maybe a slightly softer bottom. Maybe better fuel economy?

Need an opinion on pipe choice. Im breaking in a 21-4 btt wc and right now the only pipes i have to choose from are losi re-11 and nova 9101 with a 41021 header. which would be better
