What about a re11? Trying to see if I should get another b5 pro for 150$ or just get a p5 and use a pipe I have already. This will be for a truggy. For buggy I probably get a p5 or maxy with a nova pipe P5xlt w/2013 is not gonna be short of power anywhere, just accentuated on low |

Hi.
How would you compare Novarossi C5TGC and C6TC6 plugs with OS plugs? C5 = P4 and C6 = P5? |

They are not same. And I hope this does not start another glow plug war.
Yearh I know they are not the same. Just asking about the heat range. |
Lillebror, the way I figure, if the outside temp is above 25c use the 6, if it's below 25c use the 5.
When I use the O.S. plugs, I use the P3 up to about 30C, and then go with the P4 when it starts going 32-33'ish C. I'm in Spain so I struggle a lot with real high temperatures sometimes, makes carburation a pain in the butt. |

I really thought the P3 plugs was much warmer than a C5 - that it is similar to O'Donnell 77T - but I was wrong :) |

Pipes and Headers
I was testing out different manifolds on my p5 with a 9853ss pipe yesterday. I usually run a 41001 meduim bent header. It makes great power. It's like giving the 9853 a little more top end without taking away the low end and mid. It's really close to the old OFNA bent headers the 086 and 053 pipes come with but it never gets beat up.
Anyway. I tried the longer version yesterday on a plus-4 team and then a p5 still with the 9853 and it was awesome. It's the 41005 header. That's the best header I've ever used. It really gets on the pipe from low to top much better than even the 41001. I usually run it with the plus-4 to help out on the bottom end but even on the p5 it seemed to rev higher on top too. My point is at least try the nova bent headers. I know the curved ones look cool and all that but they are sitting in my parts box and have been for a while now. Between the 41001 and 41005 in buggy you can tune one more level without going too long or too short. The 41005 may be called long but it's not as long as the curved truggy header 41020. More like a long buggy header. |
