Multi-viscosity 9% lubrication package: Synthetic/Castor

What does VP power masters fuel have to do with my post?

novarossi roma

So i just bought a Roma and wondering which pipe is best for it. currently i have a Nova 2096/41021, Jp-4, Losi RE11, Aplus0801.

I remember reading that some like the 9886 pipe.

Also wondering if the Roma came with the new nova carby.

thanks

i run the 2084/41029 on mine to soften it out a little. Thats what i had on it yesterday at Sunshine if you remember seeing it.

The 2096 will be a good pipe on it with the short header

Going to try out a P5. Do I need to change out the Bearings, Or are the stock ones ok?

It's highly recommended you switch out the front bearing for a 17011 bearing.

Some guys will break-in on the stock bearing, then after 1/2 gallon or so, make the switch.

Weren't you running Plus 4's?

I've been running the plus 4's. Just thought I'd give a p5 a try...

What causes the top of the piston to turn black?

It looked like the inside of a chimney.

I was able to clean it and get it off. I usually take apart and clean my motors about every 3-4 weeks and the last time it was done I didn't have this problem.

This is on a Bonito

Its carbon build up from running a little on the rich side. Not a bad thing to leave alone or clean up just dont do near the edge of the piston because it becomes part of your seal :)

Running a fuel with a good amount of castor , it will not hurt anything

Also means your tunes a lil off ;)
