Back in the day

For a long time after the s7 and then the p5 came out I took out the restrictor. I was like, no way I'm limiting the carb. haha..

I never had issues with runtime, as a matter of fact I pitted around 10 minutes back then. I guess I drove slower ha. Now I drive like the cops are after me...

I just tried one this past weekend. I did not like it. tune was off and idle was all over the place. Changed back to my nova plug. no issues... Thats my experience.

I like the Nova 6 plug best. Easy to tune and will idle forever.

From what I have heard. Odonnell 99T is more like the Nova Rossi 6. The 97T is to hot.

Correct me if I'm wrong guys but hasn't the quality of the Odonnell plugs went down hill. If so y bother putting one in your high quality mill?

Od plugs were awesome, but over the last few months I had tons of problem with them (maybe a bad batch) so I decided to stop using them and go back with the nova plugs. Since then I haven't had an issue.

I ran OD 97T plugs at a race last Sunday. The Plus4 Team engine ran perfect the whole race. Very powerfull as always even with only a 5,5 mm venturi - 10 minutes on a tank of fuel during the race. The temps were from +2 to 10º Celsius. My engine are in a very good shape (3 gallons) so actually the 97T plugs is a little too hot. The engine could idle for days without loading up. Thats a too warm plug for me. Gonna get Novarossi #6 plugs and then be able to lean the carb a little. When my engine starts to be worn (in 2014 or so :D), I'm sure it will need at OD 97T or even a OD 77T plugs to keep a steady and crispy idle.

Hey mate, I'm picking up a Roma .25 tomorrow and I see that your I'm Australia. So was wondering if your running the same motor or just asking about it. If your running it. Where are you based and how do you like it. I can't wait to unleash it in my losi t2.0.

I'm in brissy, and I'm pretty sure that it hasn't got the new carb on it. Think they are leaving it as a hop up. Don't know for sure though.
