Finally got started breaking in my B5 Pro today, following Ron's guide. There has to be something wrong........it's going too easy. This thing fired right up is running perfectly. Starting on my 6th tank tomorrow. We'll be at the track on Monday to see how it works out. Put it in a new RC8.2 with a Buku clutch and 2013 pipe.

Ok so Neal from CRE's own Clockwork Racing Engines modified Werks B5 engine is on holidays in Australia at the moment so out with the Novarossi & in with the Werks and time for it to stretch its legs on the other side of the world, Dropped it in my Serpent Truggy with a Werks 2013 pipe and tuned it ready for action with a M2C clutch, 4 x 1.0 springs and reg hard aluminum shoes and let her rip.
Well finished ofter the heats with a clear cut TQ for the A main truggy final as this engine is amazing on fuel with tons of power as you will see from the video's below, The final was a different story with a rear centre diff bearing colapsing forcing me from the final Grrrrrrrrr. . http://youtu.be/yxKQSw1Pvg8 . http://youtu.be/8ZlTdlmPU50 |

I run a JP-1 on my B5, and have for about 5 months now. I love it. I really like having a pipe that maximizes the low end of the engine, and in my opinion, the JP-1 does great at doing that with the B5. Try it out, man!

The best way to to find out is to try both of em and see which one you like best.

Just picked up a b5 pro and getting ready to break this bad boy in soon.
I plan to use method on the website, seems pretty easy. i have also read this thread and feel like i have a good understanding or shall i say "better" understanding since reading this thread and break in procedure on first page. Sometimes i seem to get the 2 stage idle thing going on, (other engines) but usually only after its fully warmed up, like at the end of a heat or last 1/8th tank. My question is when you guys are "balancing out the carb" is it a 1:1 adjustment? Assuming the whole tune is close and not totally out of whack if i lean out the top an hour or two should i be richening the bottom the same? thanks for any info |
nevermind, wrong thread.

the jp1 is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!

With the JP-1, how much run time can you get on a tank of fuel, in a buggy?
