To be specific the interchangeable parts are all of the cases, bearings, carbs parts, inserts, rods, P/S sets etc. Cranks are interchangeable between the B5 & B6 but not the B2 as the stroke in that engine is different and it was done by crank pin placement.

So then I can put the b2 sleeve in the b5 pro? Or no?

I'm so confused now lol. I'm just gonna leave it alone lol

If there is a rattling sound our whining sound that you hear when the engine is running (and is not caused by having your gear mesh set incorrectly) then it is probably the bearing. Any time your bearing is starting to go out replace it. That is not something that you want to just get around to when you get around to it and keep on running the engine. I say this as when a bearing fails the mess that it makes of your engine is usually quite spectacular! So in regards to bearings always play it safe.

The bigger question though is why is your bearing failing with only 2 gallons on it? So...make sure that you check how you are doing things i.e. the air filter set up that you are using (dirt), your tuning (running too lean = a lack of lubrication), your fuel (sometimes you just get a batch that was blended incorrectly with too little oil in it (not too common but does happen with smaller brands)) and finally your after run procedure i.e. do you use after run oil every time after running your engine if you are in an area with high humidity conditions (not doing so can = rust on bearings).

Edit to the above, I just noticed that you are running a Pro which has one of our ceramic bearings in it instead of steel. We use some really high end Swiss bearings and those things normally do not fail. Also rust and lubrication are generally not an issue with them either so... if the bearing is failing then it's either going to be dirt or possibly eating a glow plug element. In any case to check if the bearing is going just pull the crank and put your thumb against the inner race. Now push firmly against the inner race and rotate. Check to see if you feel any grittyness or notchyness. If everything feels smooth like butter you are ok.

werks no.5 and a werks no.6 . both new plus an old no.5 which was installed.

its either the bearing or the plug and does bearing and glow plugs failure affect each other becuz nothing seemed too be wrong ..\

Take the engine apart...then inspect the crankshaft to see if there are any signs of ingesting dirt... ..Dirt gets into these engines far more often then I think people realize... Definitely not something worth messing with, best bet is to take that engine apart, inspect it, clean it then if your not sure of anything take a picture and ask a second opinion...

here is what to look for on your crankshaft...If you see these kinds of markings it means your engine has ingested dirt

B5 & B6 Wins black Friday race at the pit Columbia sc

Lots of werks motors at this race. James banta takes pro buggy win with b5, and b6 pro takes the sportsman buggy win. Both of us were also running werks clutches.
