I just got the 58 today and have been running the 2013, but i am already wondering how the 086 will run on the b5.

Don't fool yourself, if the 2058 was an 086 then the EFRA number that was on it would be an 086 instead of a 2058 lol! There is a lot going on with pipes on the inside that you can not see and I can guarantee you that the 2058 will preform quite a bit differently than an 086 pipe will. You are going to notice more bottom & mid with the 2058 plus a lot better fuel consumption. The 086 is a old pipe design that had been around for years so this one I know well.

Will say for myself i was not a believer on Werks pipes, thought my B5 with 053 or 086 was good until i actual put 2013 on. I dont BS put wow if you are running Werks engine i would not mess with anything but Werks pipes.

@ ron :

a narrow manifold to get a better fit in mugen or durango buggys would be nice !

dreaux 05-09-2011 01:01 PM

Ok, that makes sense. Didn't look inside at the baffles or anything. Also, i thought the 58 was a top end pipe for buggy no? the 2013 for bottom in a truggy? Anyway, got em both waiting on a part to get running again.

yeah, the manifold is very hard to fit in my mugen buggy.

Hey guys, I have three brand new Werks #6 plugs for sale. The #5 plugs work better up here at my altitude. Pleas PM me, will let them go for less than retail.

The 2058 have not as much bottom as the 2013 and more that 2057. And more top end that 2013 but not as much than the 2057. Just the perfect rpm rage to unleash the beast in any part of the track and in control. Just get 2 sockets that can fit in the holes and use an extension to bring them together a few MM, that will fixed you. :sneaky: The 2058 with your Mod B5 is more power than you can control, not a bad thing. :sneaky:

Just wondering how a Boss 2053 pipe would go on the B5 pro. And does anyone no what the performance specs are of this pipe.

you need to read my post again, I didn't said the 57 has more bottom or mid that the 58. The 58 might have more top in your mods eng.
I have all 3 pipes, I know what they do for me.
