So fellas... How are every bodies B5s running? Those of you that have had them, like them, and know how to break them in correctly?

well my b5 and b6 both over 6 gallons pure like kittens my b6 has over 7... :) and get over 10 min pit stops to boot :)

awesome! mine has 1/2 gallon on it now. I came in to pit last night after a heavy trigger finger, not knowing what the time was on the timer, it was at 10min with fuel left in the tank enough to run probly 3 more laps. that was with my b6 though.

Mine is runninng awesome, I only got 4 gallons on so far beccause our season ended but it is still like new inside (i guess I know how to tune a mx bike and a nitro rc motor:)) I am looking for another motor after xmas, what should I get? I was thinking a alpha so I can say I have one and have ran one. More so I have facts for haters type of thing.

Maybe i will just buy another B5 I have a spare 2013 already:D

Hey Quad racer. What kind of temps(if you ever check) have you been getting at the factory since the weather cooled down?

Mine was running right at 230 the three times I checked it after a 10 min run. But its only has about 1/2 gallon on it now, if that much. So the temps will drop.

Man my carb boot around the LEN is leaking so bad! Is there a seal that may have gone bad? How can I fix this? My LEN is a hair lean if anything.....

Mine comes off at around 200 at the Factory and it has about 5-6 gallons on it so far.

There is no seal around the slide. If the carb boot is leaking it might have a pin hole in it and need to be replaced. You can also try just running a small zip tie around the end of the carb boot where it is flat. This will hold it tight around the slide and should take care of the leak if it is not a pin hole.

Might I suggest a B6 as you already have a spare pipe? I think that you will be quite impressed with this engine!
