Read the very first post on page 1 from Ron. That should answer your question.

I'm not sure where you are getting your information from but we have never had a front bearing leaking problem with the B5 that would need fixing lol. Never received 1 e-mail or call about this since we shipped the first one. Matter of fact we have never had a front bearing leaking problem (or any type of other bearing problem) on any of our engines that I have ever heard of.

The only time the front bearing will fail is when the rear main bearing fails. I have read everything generally there are no warranties that come along with engines do to the many variables that can make them fail.I have always ran Werks engines and the Lamberto Collari before them I can say in short quality!!But,what makes it better than the +4? All I see at the tracks are purple heads and what about the old saying you get what you pay for? I'm not a trend follower but, Nova Rossi engines are also Known for quality.I'm a little sceptical about buying something that hasn't been tested by the average club racer or only at the Pro driver levels.Don't get me wrong I love Werks engines and they have won me many races but, is this a quick retooling of the B3 to take advantage of the economic state? Or could this be the next best thing?...........

B/c at the Ohio State pro series there were 2 Werks engines (Mo Denton and Me) and there were 2Novarossi +4's and werks sat 2nd and 3rd after qualifying... Ahead of the +4's lol:nod::lol:

All joking aside, both engines are good engines. Both get great gas milage, both have great power, Both can be smooth,

ok those are the reason to have a toss up between the 2. Now why yuou should go buy a Werks engine .
1) $200 for the Werks engine. Over $100 cheaper then the Novarossi plus4
2) Customer service is "THE BEST" at Werks, with Ron on the forums. You can't get any higher up in managment then Ron. I have personally seen Ron take care of non-sponsored drivers just b/c they run the engine. Plus I see him on here helping out non-stop plus what he gets in PM's and e-mails that I/we don't see...

Do you see Novarossi doing that ANYWHERE????

So, hopefully this will help you out some in your decision no matter what it ends up being...

Well i just want to say this motor rocks!! I raced last sunday and i break in the engine on site, miss the 1 qualy due the break in, in the intermission i race tune the engine in the fat side and run the second qualy placing me 5 in the A main.. with a OS 2060 i have half tank in the 5 min qualy. My luck run out at 6:48 going 3rd in the main when the motor base move and end my raceday w stripped clutchbell and spur..next time i will not forget to put locktide to the screws!!! Great motor, fast and it is not 100% tune yet!!! Great job Werks!!!

Mo Denton 09-29-2009 08:29 AM

Typically amainhobbies would be one of the best places to get it.
However with italy shutting down for a month it has put a damper on consistancy. Things are getting back normal and in a very short time backorders won't be a problem, also since the motors are so inexpensive it seems most are just buying 2 at a time!!

Hey guys just a quick update as I've been a little swamped lately. First off, thank you to those of you currently running the B5 for posting feedback on your experience with the motor. I'm continuing to see that people seem to be really pleased with it! For those of you waiting in line to get a B5 I just tracked our shipment that went you of Italy last week and it will be arriving on Friday. We will get these turned around to A-Main the same day which will put them in stock at their shop on Monday. Availability is still going to be somewhat tight for the next month or so until we get caught up on production so if you want one please do not delay, get an order in because I have a feeling that they are going to disappear in a matter of days like they did last time!

Regards,

Ron

Your best bet is to just page through the last couple of pages. There is a lot of information on peoples pipe choices and testing results from running different ones. I think that the overall consensus though on our pipes is the 2013 provides the most power, the 2056 has let torque but gives awesome run time and the 2057 seems to fit in right between. The B5 seems to work well across the board with most pipes so that's a blessing for people but as mentioned take a look back to get the specifics on different models/brands!

Eddie,
The 2056 is dialed but the baffle comes loose way to easy. :( I've lost 2 pipes to the poor weld on the baffle.
The 2013 gets good run times and creates a ton of power.
I'm going to test with the 2035 this weekend.

Looks like the 2013 is the winner and of course I'm going to add the B5 along with my B7:) Trying to make this thread interesting....
