you could run it as is with 20% i think.... but you might as well get some 30%.

as a rule, if you 'just club race' you should NEVER mess with deck height, remove shims, etc.

just my .02

heidmann1, Hey I was the one that came up to you saturday to see what VP's you were running. How'd you like the bigboy pipe? Think you'll keep running it? I'm hitting the track tomorrow and I might try it out again even though 2013 has been my favorite so far. Aaaaaaaaaaaaand will you be racing this saturday?

? about the idle gap guys, when you say your set at say 1mm how are you guys measuring that, or are you just eye balling it.

I was going to use a piece of solder and just pinch the end of it to the correct size and use that.

Smb17, The VP-Pro Turbo Trax Hook up very well at Revelation. When the track is dry(which is most of the time) it is hard to find a tire that works well, myself and Andy smolnick agree The Turbo Traxx Ultra Flex or Medium Flexx hook up the best out there, all the time.... As far as the 2056 pipe it just depends on what you like, I tried it again just cause its been a while and Ihave been using the 2013 in my buggy and it definatly tames down the power, which can make you smoother if you are not a very smooth driver, but for my taste the 2057 is my pipe for the B5 /loose track combo. It tames it down but not as far as the 2056 does. Just be sure to get the sirio 2056 if you do. The Trinity is junk. The springs pulled through the header after 6 tanks with it this weekend, and it was only use for about 3 tanks before that. But As far as buggy goes(2013 is the pipe for truggy) If you have a lot of traction and you have a steady finger the 2013 will put out the most power and punch, but if your track is loose or your throttle finger is not the smoothest the 2057 provides xlnt power and a tad more runtime but is more foregiving and smoother. SO for That track I think personally the 2057 is the B5 buggy pipe. A-Main should have some of the new versions this week. I will be ordering one myself I still have the oild version and its looking pretty sorry at his point . but then again its 3 years old...lol Time to upgrade I am going to try and race saturday but I was out last sat and sunday so not sure yet.

I see it as a set with the Orion motors on Amain but not by itself. Does anyone know where to get one other than ebay or used on here?
Keep an eye out on this thread as Ron is usually pretty good about letting us all know when Amain should be getting shipments from him...

Ron you have an e-mail again

Thanks,

Most people are using the carbon shoes, this seems to give the best combination of grip and wear. With a properly adjusted clutch you should get around 6 gallons out of a set of these shoes. Hope this helps!

I have not looked at their site in a while but I do not think that the new 2057's are listed on there yet. Give them a day or two to get them up and you should be able to order one.

I will only have 1 day to break this in. The following day will be all out racing.

I read the break in recommendation on the first page but I do not have that much time.

How can I break this thing in quickly???????????
Hey dishsoap, thanks for picking up one of our engines. Regarding the quick break in heidmann1's response on that (and the pipes) are a good way to go. Let us know if you have nay questions once you get it in and if you could please let us know what your thoughts are once you get a chance to run it.

Regards,

Ron

Your engine is just loading up, you are still running on the rich side so just lean it out a bit. Also did you get the other composite carb that I sent you? Any feedback?

Not a noob mistake ;-) the 2057 is just called the 2057 and I do not think that it is set up at A-main yet. We have the new 2010 versions coming in today which have the thicker pipe wall material and the new braced stinger. I would expect A-main to have them up on their site for you to order in the next couple of days. Hope this helps!

Ron
