marshon50 – Try to block more wind and keep the temp up more by wrapping whatever you need to wrap that will help.

Marshon,

I live in Indiana and have been racing all winter in a 10-40 degree warehouse. I have had a little trouble getting my motor to have a consistent idle in these cold temps. I would not worry too much if you have to lean the low end a tic, and then lower the idle. I know people throw out exact dimensions to set it to, but sometimes a tenth of a MM in either direction is all that is needed to get the idle right.

From the pic to me, it looks like the idle gap is open too much. It should be about the thickness of a credit card at the widest point, which is pretty small....... and from what you are saying it does seem like the LSN is way too rich and you have the idle open too much to compensate for it.......... I think if you close down your idle gap some more and then tune your LSN you will be good.......Maybe its just the pic? but it does look to large of a gap..... but Iam not there looking at it so double check it...hope this helps

Havent tried that one but tried about 15 others over the last few months Still think the Werks 2013 and 2057 is best for this engine, And then 3rd probrably the 2035. The new version 2057 should be here in a week or so. Awesome pipe for the B5. Smooths out the powerband compared to the 2013 with a bout 45 seconds more runtime and a bit more top. Xlnt pipe. These 2 pipes were designed for this engine and it shows. Once you try one you will see ,they just feel right??????????? I know I'm Weird.lol......BUt these pipes just bring the whole package with this engine. So if you are like me and overly picky these pipes work the best. The B5 engine has a lot of power so you can get away with using quite a few different pipes and it will still perform. which is nice ....BUt its like driving a mustang with a V6 and a mustang with a V8............The 2013 IS the TRUGGY pipe though

Me and Ron was talking and he suggested the 2057 i just need some good run time on it i need atleast around 9 minutes maybe a little less i will try my pipes first and if they dont work i will get a 2057.

This will be my First B5 i have owned the B7, B7 Pro and i still have a team line B3 and with the support that Ron gives with his motors and all the other guys always willing to give a helping hand it just awsome to see that and makes the product that much easier to purchase.
