Help identify this Sirio motor...I love this little thing, but would like to know what internals i can replace with. I'm in my 2 finals weeks, so i won't have time to take it off and apart, so these will have to do for now. 3 port, AAC, Turbo head, turbo scoop on crank, no putty ramp, knife con rod, no markings on case except for made in italy, had on shim i think, black composite carb with silver restrictor, 3 needle adjustment.
Thanks

That's a T3 version which Is no longer in production you use a piston & sleeve from the evo 3 version

Your engine is an early production Evo2, coded
S12 TRP PRO E if it is EFRA spec or
S12 TRP PRO I if it is IFMAR spec

The PRO series came with AAC sleeve, versus the non PRO that came with ABC sleeves. Performance was the same, being the AAC more difficult to tune correctly.

Early production EVO2's came with that slim tall light blue cooling head with no EVO" engraving, later they came with the 52mm oversized coolin haed with different engraving, but that was the only change, internals where the same.

All parts are interchangeable between all S12TRP's engines.

Some part numbers:
S12041213 PISTON-SLEEVE EV2 3 PORTS ABC
S12041214 PISTON-SLEEVE EV2 3 PORTS AAC
S12051020 PISTON PIN
S12060010 CIRCLIPS
S12070020 CONROD
S12081200 CRANK EV2 EFRA
S12081300 CRANK EV2 IFMAR
S12090010 FRONT BEARING
S12090230 REAR BEARING
S12012202 52MM COOLING HEAD

I don't know if those parts are available, but you might try the search with the PN's. or maybe contact Kyosho of America who I think are the USA dealers, and maybe see with them if current Sirio engine parts are interchangeable.

I'm long gone from Sirio engines so I can't help you more. They are great engines though, just changed brands to whatever has more support and part availabilty around here.

Regards
AFM

Just set it up the same as the 2D clutch
shim the outside first then shim inside so clutch bell doesnt ride on the shoe

frankly i myself not yet use these 'monsters' but if u r serious esp. for racing get the sirio evo4 sti paired with the sirio 2611 pipe, as for the clutch the stock RRR already good enough. if u want more get the sirio clutch set.

Does anybody know the differences between the EVO 2 and the EVO 4 motors ? The reason why I ask is because I have an EVO 2 motor that is litterally a missle. It really rips up some of the current modified motors at my track because it was used at the worlds in Brazil for touring car back in 2004 and made the A-main . It still has alot of compression. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

( Here's afew photos of the car )

EVO2 and EVO4 engine are totally different engine...you have different cylinder, rod, bearings...so all the parts are different.
According to me if you are satisfied using an EVO2...you will be really surpriesed when you'll test the new EVO4, standard or STI version, according to me it's one of the best engine made by Sirio, in particular if you use a Sirio or Capricorn clutch system.

Go for the werks motor. You'll like the power band and it's also sirio based.
